This hotel is one of the best hotel I ever stayed in! When we arrived the front desk guy changed our room into a bigger one(than the one we booked on booking.com) we had fresh fruits in the room, the furniture is made by wood...More
I travel every month on business, and this is by far the most impressive hotel I've ever stayed in. With only 14 rooms in a small land, the developer has recreated the hotel in an aristocratic 1930's style that exudes history and high class furnishing...More
The Hotel itself is beautiful. The room I stayed in was nice. I do agree with some of the other reviews about the A/C . It's basically non existent . This hotel is on a shoestring budget because they are suffering from lack of tourism....More

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

The Celine is a great little hotel within a short walking distance of many local attractions, especially the Blue Mosque, the Obelisks and Topkapi Palace. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. However, it's not one to offer much of a sea view.
As an alternative, I'd suggest the Hotel Levni and Spa. It's close to the Galatta bridge area where many of the boats depart and also near the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market. The room we had there was very modern and offered a good sea view.
