The exterior of the hotel retains its nineteenth century appearance. But the inside has been gutted and completely rebuilt as a thoroughly contemporary 'minimalist design' luxury hotel. The room we stayed in...

Nightmare started before we arrived. After having booked and paid for everything, we received an email from the hotel owner saying ther would be a wedding on 4 of our 6 nights which kind of put us off our quiet holiday. We rang the manager and asked how late the parties would go on for and found out not only...

Referring to your reservation on May 26, we tried to reach you by e-mail to inform you about the weddings that will be held at the hotel. A gem of a boutique hotel – highly recommended. Right at the edge of the bosphorous with absolutely stunning views. Has a complimentary taxi service to take guests to the European side. After staying for a few days in Sultanamet, we wanted a retreat, a place to relax. Ajia met this requirement precisely. The combination of the fabulous setting; cocktails on arrival; friendly and helpful staff; and serene, contemporary decor and beautiful room with high-ceiling helped us slow down and start to unwind. We had an afternoon sat on the terrace reading...

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome and appreciated. The staff were friendly and efficient and the location overlooking the water is just perfect. The food was faultless. I wish our meeting was longer so we could have stayed an extra night.

I love this hotel and the location is the highlight! I also loved the food at the restaurant which was well priced for the quality and service. I enjoyed taking the private boats to cross and shop at the big shopping centre and coming back to the quite suburb the hotel is in.
