Clean and tidy, helpful staff with friendly nature. The hotel is very close to many major tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes and bazaars. Great rooftop breakfast dining room with views up the Bosphorous. Would highly recommend this hotel. Stayed as a couple for a few days after a G Adventures trip across Europe.

Stayed here with a tour group and the beginning and end of the trip. The location is fantastic for walking to many of Istanbul's major sights. Large selection of restaurants and shops close by too. The breakfast buffet offered a huge selection and is located on the rooftop with good views. Everything was clean and reception was helpful. Only minor...

This hotel was in a great location. Very clean and comfortable bed. Close to all the major attractions. Staff were very helpful. Wifi wasn't great all the time, but breakfast was included in our rate and was bad for a Turkish breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was in a great location that was within walking distance to most of the major old-city sites. Proximity alone makes it worth booking, it was also very clean. The only minor issues were spotty wifi (unless you were in the lobby) and air conditioning.

We went to Istanbul on a tour with G Adventures and this was their hotel of choice. The hotel was clean staff friendly, breakfast was good, nothing really too bad to say. Only complaint would be is the massage as they stuck us in a sauna for over 15 minutes until we couldn't stand heat any more. Finally got up...

The place is clean, hospitable and close to all the major sights. The tour brochures for the Bosphorus and other major attraction at the reception are also good value for money. The rooms have the necessities. They are clean as are the bathrooms. I also can't stress enough how kind the management was. One reception attendant in particular (I wish...

We found ourselves accidental guests of this hotel when our booking at the hotel next door was transferred at the last minute. The rooms were very small (the end rooms on each floor are bigger) and when my tall husband later down in the bed it was hard to pass around the foot of the bed without tripping over his...

This hotel is very well situated, close to all the tourist attractions and there are some nice eating places in the area. You can walk to most of the main Istanbul tourist attractions from the hotel. The hotel is very basic, but adequate for a good holiday.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
