We spent 4 days at this Hotel. The strength of this Hotel is its unrivaled Location next to the St Sophia and very close to the SultanAhmet square. The restaurant is nicely situated in a bright room with fine views of surrounding monuments. The rooms are...More
What an exquisite hotel! The service is flawless. Wonderful dining, set in the most ideal location available in Istanbul. We could not have been happier with our stay, and would stay there again should we return to this wonderfully exciting city.
Beautiful city Istanbul, worth a visit. Good hotel to stay as it's close to all the sites we wanted to visit. Aya Sofia is across the hotel and other sites as Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque are walking distance away. Rooms are adequate, clean , cozy...More

Great little hotel, superb location. Yes, it's not the usual luxury chain hotel candidate, but instead it's a lovely little boutique hotel. You cannot beat the location: The Hagia Sophia is literally 15 feet away!!! The tram stops are a mere 5min walk away, Topkapi...More

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

I actually walked from Taksim sq back to the hotel one day, just for fun. Using offline maps and a compass it took me about an hour and a half, but should be a bit less if you don't wander too much. The public transit system is more than adequate so this shouldn't be a problem. Also the hotel is close to alot of the main attractions (the grand bazar in particular) so it's a better trade off than if you went for a hotel closer to the square
