Travelling from South Africa with the exchange rate this was great value and location. We did sight seeing to Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar and Mosques by foot. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

Fantastic customer service ... comfortable rooms... great breakfast... awesome location... tasty restaurant in hotel as well as Osman Gourmet Grill just 4 minutes walk away around the corner. Great views of Blue Mosque from breakfast room and restaurant. My biggest praise was the fact that I had booked a room twice and they, without hesitation nor charge cancelled the second...

This hotel aspires to be more than it is by use of the "Lady Diana" name. It is very small and the room we were given did not have space for our suitcases to be opened. The staff's attitude: "What do expect for a budget room" The included breakfast was typically Mediterranean with a relatively small selection. As many of...

Delightful hotel, well situated within walking distance of everything and the rooftop restaurant was a dream . Room was spacious and clean with no noise to disturb us. Would certainly stay here again on future visits. The breakfast was also lovely and plenty of choice.

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. It is very Small, Noisy room (AC) and the shower room is very small. The worst aspect of this hotel is the staff, they are very RUDE/Aggressive and do not know how to treat customers. The lift can only accommodate two people at a...

The hotel is on a quiet street. From the restaurant is great view, you can see Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The rooms are clean and the stuff is very helpful. Great communication with the hotel manager before our arrival. Recommended

As a family with an infant, we got a room on the first floor, with a noisy ventilation system in progress right outside our windows. After negotiations to change the room, the receptionist gave us a smaller one on the other side and floor, though without an apology or offer of a reduced fee for the inconvenience. In general, the...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
