Friendly and helpful staff. My room is clean. Good location as it is walkable to tourist sites such as the blue mosque, a supermarket and a range of restaurants. I had a trouble free trip and enjoyed my adventure in Istanbul. I felt happy with the hotel I tipped the staff before I went home.

Great hotel, perfect location for all the main attractions. The rooms are slightly dated, but spotlessly clean and the maid comes in daily. The highlight of the hotel is their staff, they are all so friendly and will do anything to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is on the top floor, no lift available if you have mobility issues. The choice was plentiful and fresh, typical Turkish breakfast, and the lady serving breakfast has the loveliest manner and smile. I'd recommend this hotel but may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Stayed at the Asmali Hotel for four night during our visit to Istanbul. The hotel has good location very close to the Sultanahmet area with all its attractions. Also, there's lots of eateries and shops in the area. Our room was on the 2nd floor (lots of steps to climb as no elevator) and was good size and furnished nicely with a very comfortable bed. One gig was that the toilet seat did not fit the toilet and should have been replaced. Breakfast was very Turkish which was not our favorite part of the stay. The hotel has a balcony with great views of Istanbul and the Blue Mosque. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful.

The Asmali hotel has an excellent location, the facade is very beautiful, Ottoman style, and at night they light it up and it looks even more beautiful. My room was spacious and quiet, with a very large window to the outside, the air conditioning worked well and the bed was wide and comfortable, as was the shower. The breakfasts included in the price are buffet-style, very well prepared and presented, with a lot of variety and that you can enjoy on a wonderful terrace with views of the bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The attention from the staff that works there is exceptional, if I return to Istanbul I would choose it without hesitation, 100% recommended. Her şey için çok teşekkürler

Location is easy to find and very close to Blue Mosque and other attractions. Street is quiet. Romm was basic, your typical 3 star hotel. Provided everything you needed. Place was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. I'd recommend this place for a place to stay of you're not after anything fancy.

This is a boutique hotel, the staff were amazing, they could not do enough for us, super helpful even lending us a personal travel card so that we could use the public transport system which for tourists could be a nightmare, one particularly helpful guy on desk duty marked out the maps for us telling us where to walk and where we needed to go to get the most of our stay. The breakfast was typically Turkish but was always fresh and tasty, over all it is a great place to stay when visiting Istanbul, all the major attractions are less than five minutes walk away and many great restaurants are less than a minute away.

The worst I had in Istanbul. Dirty clothes, dirty walls. Worst than the photos used in websites. Disorganized. Narrow stairs. The only nice thing was breakfast in terrace. After the trip I put my review on booking website about this hotel, and then the man texted my number and insulted me. Unbelievable!

I really enjoyed my stay at Asmali hotel. I had a room in basement, so it was quite. My favorite was the breakfast, the food was fresh and delicious, the best one out of all the hotels I have been in Turkey. Great location, just walking distance to city center.

Asmali creates a warm and welcoming experience from the moment your stay begins until you depart. The rooms are cozy and well appointed. Great shower with ample heat and pressure. The breakfasts had many choices on the the rooftop. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, everything is an easy walk. We recommend it completely. Good things: - Very good services for a 3 star hotel. - Cheap - Delicious breakfast even for vegans - Lovely terrace - Good location - Very helpful manager ( Mr. Jeff/Jafer) - Clean rooms - a wide choice of sweets for breakfast Not Good things :) - No elevator - Breakfasts does not include many Hot options. - No coffee For breakfast( only Nescafe) - Daily cleaning are a bit careless( they don't clean bath for example) My husband and I stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Mr. Cafer.…
