We enjoyed a nice dinner on the terras. The view on the bridge is very nice. Food is excellent. Good service. The fish dishes eaten by my colleagues were very good. My lamb steak was ok, but not as nice as the fish. The restaurant...More

This hotel is right on the Bosporus and has stunning terrace and views. The rooms are ok but now in need of good face lift and better maintenance-
Would return but the owners should realise its short sighted not to invest in rooms standards.
The ambiance of the hotel was perfect. Spectacular view. It feels like the Bosphorus is in your room, in your bed! You can see the sun, the sea, the bridge also when taking a shower. We thought the Fireplace in the room is also very...More

Home to more than half a million residents, Uskudar on the Asian side of the Bosphorus is one of Istanbul’s most densely populated neighbourhoods. Once a Greek colony, later a haven for people from across the Mediterranean and the Middle East, this gateway to Asia has been an active and diverse hub for eons. Still, visitors to Uskudar are often more overcome by its myriad treasures than by its many thousand
residents. And with fairytale settings such as the “Maiden’s Tower” as well as grand examples of Ottoman Era architecture, plenty of parks, a gorgeous and lengthy coastline, and some of Turkey’s holiest sites, there’s no end to the sightseeing possibilities. Easily reached from the city’s European shores via a steady network of ferries, time spent in Uskudar reveals a “real life” Istanbul that many who experience find extremely fascinating.

As I remember, there was one around 9am and another around 11am and another after 1pm then coming back there were 3 or 4 after noon up til about 8pm. But you should write them from their website and they will send you a schedule. The frequency and lateness of trips somewhat depends on the season as I recall. It is a very sweet boat with inside and outside seating for about 10 people and a lovely way to travel to Karikoy where you can get the tram to the old city (Sultanhamet) or ferries to Kadikoy. You need to schedule in advance with the front desk especially during the high tourist season. We were there in April so it wasn't a problem. Hope that is helpful.
