Vardar Pension is clean and quiet but the rooms are so drab I couldn't wait to leave. Breakfast is extremely basic but the old couple serving breakfast are pleasant. We found much more atmospheric rooms for the same price in Selcuk.

The room was very clean and well equipped. The heating was good, something very rare in Turkey. It is run by a nice and very friendly family. Breakfast is taken in an open-air terrace in front of the pension (nice in summer we guess), but as the morning of our departure was very cold, we were allowed to have breakfast...

We were lucky enough to run into the lovely owner near the market..... Pure luck I believe, this is one of the best hostels in Selcuk... 10/10 across the board, very friendly relaxed environment.. We have been travelling for some months now and have not experienced such hospitality including cleanness, hot showers, breakfast and a short walk into the town centre....

The Vardar Family Pension is a wonderful place to stay. We came to Selcuk without reservations, and Seval approached us at the otogar (bus station). We were skeptical at first, but she is genuinely friendly. We were completely impressed that she is such a successful business woman - the only woman to run a hotel in all of Selcuk. The...

Though sceptical at first because we were being approached at the bus station, Vardar Pension turned out to be a really good place to stay at Selcuk. Central location, friendly personnel=family, decent breakfast and generally well-kept and clean. What else do you want? Discounts may be possible, at least they were no problem for us, which made it the best...

This is a very clean, friendly, convenient family run hotel. They have a patio on the street level and a terrace on the roof. Guests can hang around under the grape vines cooling off whenever they want. Papa makes breakfast and the ladies do the paper work. Sometimes they go to the bus station to meet guests, even when there...

Traveling with two young kids (8 and 4 years) is always a challenge as their needs are quite different from an adult's. This hotel was excellent in that respect as the owner Seval and her family went out of their way to make our stay extremely comfortable. We were allowed to use the kitchen facilities (the stove to make coffee,...

We spent 4 nights here - pension run by very friendly family - English speaking - excellent value - good breakfast - ideal central but quiet location - 2 minute walk to bus station - would return without hesitation - been to Turkey 15 times and would like a place like this at all our stops.

While the room is basic the welcome from Seval and her family makes this a good short term stay. We were fortunate be there on a Saturday which is market day and literally on the doorstep were the most amazing stalls of fresh farm produce. Selcuk is the closest to Ephesus and our host Serval arranged for an excellent agent...
