Old - Old Hotel (Owned by Tour Company). Nicely kept up & Charming, but problems. No Elevator - 4 floors. Noisy. Bathrooms are good. Bed in my room was soft - sleep quality wasn't good. The Food ranged from Very Average to Very Good. My knees aren't interested in staying again.

Dear our valued Guest MGMTraveler, We thank you for your comments of our hotel. We will have to mention that we have only 3 floors buildings in each block. And our blocks have been built in 1980's conditions. Regarding these details we will definitely take necessary steps to improve our service. Best regards, F.O.M. Hakan OZDEMIRCI

My husband, another couple and I spent our first night in Turkey at the Hotel Kalehan. From the street it seemed a very quaint little spot, the front desk equally so, although it passed muster with our friends when we were advised that free internet service was available (although that, I understand, posed some challenges as they learned the ins...

We stayed two nights at the Kalehan as part of a pre-booked schedule. We had good helpful advice from the owner about visiting nearby Ephesus. Being on half-board we made good use of the hotel restaurant during our short stay, and found the food and service very good. Our room, though air-conditioned, was on the small side and somewhat cramped...

I first stayed at Kalehan Hotel in 1995 with my husband. I then suggested staying there to my daughter when she picked me up from nearby Izmir airport. Since 2003 I have stayed there almost every year and have never been disappointed. The staff are lovely, the breakfast is enormous and very tasty. There is a lovely swimming pool with...

We live in Turkey, about 4.5 hours away from Selcuk and have stayed at this lovely hotel almost every year since 2003 whilst picking up my mother from Izmir airport. In 2006 we brought our 4 month old son and this year my infirm aunt came too. Every time we have stayed the staff have been extremely friendly, helpful and...

We stayed at the Kalehan for 2 nights in March and we had a good stay. The room was a bit more basic than I expected but the bed was comfy, it was quiet and we enjoyed the hotel. The staff were really nice and helpful. The best bit was the restaurant and more importantly the food. Breakfast had a...

We stayed here one night after a long drive from Canakkale. We booked in advance and had a lovely room with ensuite bath, a fridge and plenty of space. CHarming hotel, cosy and great rooms. They had a fire and this made the atmosphere really warming and inviting. The room was clean and the linens were spotless. Location was good - definitely recommend to others.

A turkeytravelplanner.com recommendation and a good one. The staff were helpful and welcoming on our arrival and our accommodation inviting and spacious.
