My husband and I stayed here with a small group from our church. The hotel was lovely - simple and serene - in its common areas. When we arrived on a Sunday, however, there was no one available to help with luggage. The room was fine, but only fine. It was a bit down at the heels; there was no top...

Wonderful guest house with great staff who are very service-oriented! Good value with decent beds and good showers. Solid restaurant with good food. Very nice breakfast with a variety of options. Charming little bar area and patio for coffee, tea or a drink after dinner. Very good for those who want to experience the local life. Local market and grocery...

I spent a week here in Februray. I've sampled many hotels in Bethlehem, Beit Sahour and now Beit Jala, and this much better than most. The rooms are well furnished and immaculately cleaned. Plenty of hot water, good wifi throughout and cable TV. Staff are an absolute delight ; friendly, helpful and all with a great sense of humour. Although...

the hotel is located at Bait-Jala , a 5-10 min drive from Bethlehem center . Ideal if you have a car. I stay at Bait Abrahams at least once a year and this is the most clean and welcoming place that you can find in Bethlehem area . very recommended

The hotel was clean, simple and in a great location. The rooms had nice updated showers and cable television if you so desired to stay in your room. The staff was friendly and it was fairly priced... I will definitely stay here again. My only reservation was that WiFi was only available in the lobby.

First, note that this is actually in the suburb of Beit Jala, and so it's a bit of a hike - a taxi ride would be suggested for about 20 NIS - from the main sights in Bethlehem. Tell the taxi driver you want to go to "Beit Ibrahim" in Beit Jala... Asking for Abraham's Herberge caused some confusion. This...

I found this guest house as a result of the good reviews of Trip Advisor, and told my travel agent to book our group of 16 - there for 4 nights, just before Christmas 2010. Traveling throughout Israel for 2 weeks prior filming a documentary on Christmas, and staying at 10 different hotels throughout the country, I had no idea...

When clearing our group's itinerary in the Bethelehem area with the travel agent, I requested a guesthouse to increase the probability of supporting the local economy. Little did I realize that it would be the best accomodation of our entire 12 day trip! The staff was welcoming and superbly competent, the entire facility (including the orphanage next door that we...

Our college study class stayed for 1 week at Abraham's Herberge in a small Bethlehem suburb known as Beit Jala. I had no idea here that the population was 80% Christian! So I was even more surprised to learn of this hotel, and the German Lutheran Church and orphanage built into the same complex! The structure was amazing and totally...
