We had the misfortune to book this hostel purely by location, only to find the pictures on the internet dating back to the time Israel became a state. The place has a seriously rundown look, in desperate need of an upgrade. The noise from the street is bad (our balcony door couldn't close properly) and the walls are paperthin and...

Probably the most peacefull nighs sleep combined with the friendliest staff made this short trip to Jerusalem most enjoyable for us. Great location also . Traffic free street due to light rail .. Situated in the centre of town. Lovely market square just in front and surrounded by streets with the finest bakeries coffee shops and restaurants. All well within...

Stayed for about a month. Had a great time. Dan is an incredible manager greeting everyone with a high-five handshake and a warm smile. Met so many new friends. Always someone to talk to in the kitchen, the lounge, the roof and/or the lobby.

For sure the best hostel/hotel where I have ever been in Jerusalem. It offers a totally different experience making you feel like home. The space is always clean and fresh, the staff is the best ever and the hostel is settled right in the best area of Jerusalem. Right in front where every good things happens.

The Jerusalem hostel was a great place to sleep, we built sukkas on the roof and the breakfast was great also the Jewish friends we made like Dan and the other...

I was in an all-female dorm and the price is just right knowing that I'm right in front of the Zion Square. This includes breakfast and if you want to feel more at home, you can go to the shuk(supermarket) and cook your own meal. Fridge is also provided so with the cooking utensils and basic condiments. Rooftop is also...

I highly recommend this hostel to everyone who will visit to Jerusalem. It is so near to Damascus Gate, you can easily walk to Old City. there are many shopping centers and good restaurants around the hostel. Accommodation was quite good, even though I stayed at dormitory, it was so quite and secure, I slept two nights there very well....

I stayed here with my three small kids. The main attractions for me were the decent price and the location of the hostel, being on Jaffa Road, right across from Ben Yehuda and easy walking to the Old City through the Jaffa gate. Another concern for me was safety, and I felt very safe with this place. It is quieter...

The hostel was right in the centre of Jerusalem within walking distance of the kottel the old city geulah etc the abundance of kosher eateries and shops were literally on our doorstep I absolutely loved the old colonial feel of the hostel and whilst the rooms were fairly small they were clean and perfectly adequate including shower and bathroom the...

Good location: 10 minutes to Jaffa Gate of Old city, 20 minutes to the market, 35 minutes to the central bus station. Great view from the dinning room on the roof. Free tea, coffee, bread, humus and jams on the kitchen. Good view from the rooms. But make sure you ask for a window to the street, not to the...
