We did not stay in the hotel. We ate at the restaurant twice during our visit to Jerusalem. After a few days of hummus and kebabs, we heard that this restaurant offered good pizzas, we were not disappointed. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Their local Palestinian food was also very good. The hotel is not easy to find... More

I booked this hotel online and checked that it's very close to the old city. And yes, it is. Just an easy walk, you will enter the old city. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and it's included in the room rate. The staff was at the front desk was friendly but the one at the breakfast one was just ok.... More

We stayed at the Azzahra for a week in August. The room was comfortable, everything worked fine, particularly the air con. The staff were as helpful as could be arranging excursions with the locals and providing advice. Its a 10 minute walk to the old city so well located. We ate at the restaurant several times. The food is first... More

Super bar food- But we went for dinner and the food was nothing special! So if you are just going for pizza and a drink it is perfect. If you are looking for good food, you should choose and other place to eat. The hotel looked cosy, I am sure it could be a nice place to stay!

Was taken to the restaurant by friends who live nearby. I understand that the current owner has been at the hotel about 3 years and his reputation is improving year-on-year. What a good choice, as we enjoyed the best meal we've had in Jerusalem in two recent visits. Service was excellent, despite the restaurant being nearly full. Menu was long... More

I have stayed at the Azzahra 3 times so far. First 2 occasions were on business . Third occasions was with family. My experience during the first visit was the best. The second was just ok. The third was terrible . I will first begin with the positives. 1) They have an excellent restaurant that serves good Italian food. 2)... More

Visited restaurant 3 times with parties of 3 to 6 during busy Easter week when it was crowded. The food and service was exceptional. Most of the diners were foreigners and meals were Palestinian and European. On one visit a member of my party made an unreasonable and boiserous demand of the waiter and he complied without hesitation. This was... More

I have not stayed at the hotel, but I have visited this restaurant on 3 visits to Jerusalem. Great menu which features Palestinian cuisine as well as great pizza. Taybe beer on tap. Visited with a group of adults and with family and a newborn baby. Family friendly. Salads are big servings and very good. Cucumber/Yoghurt salad and Tabouli are... More

We stayed with a group of 24 people which just about filled the available rooms, which was very fortunate as we could determine meal times and were alone for breakfast. It also shows the smallness of the place with respect to hotel amenities. But these are nice, atmospherically inviting with helpful and attentive staff. The rooms vary quite a bit.... More

“We had two rooms. One had a balcony with a table and two chairs. We loved this. The other room didn't have a balcony but was a little brighter. I would choose the balcony, if you like this. Talk to the staff. They are all locals...they speak English and are great with kids, you can learn a lot from them, they have lots of info., etc. Order room service...it's easy...or take food right up to your room from the restaurant.”
