I enetered the reception and asked about the price, when a man at the receptoin desk looked at me and said, that it's very expensive, too expensive for me, and they are fully booked. I was normally dressed, clean and everything. Rude boor!

One of those moneymaking enterprises, with happy owners because Jerusalem beds mean money. 85 Dollars for a tiny room is of course ridiculous... It wasn't even ready to receive guests: no hooks to hang something, no cupboard, no bed lights, and a cess pit for bathroom. Avoid this place. There are better ones.

Never ever again! They say that the hostel is even worse but it is hard to believe because the hotel was really a crappy place A room with a view of the pavement, very little space and no wardrobe and facilities such as hangers The bathroom was dirty and moldy with a hole in the floor where water was supposed...

This hotel was the worst experience we have ever had ! We booked for 7 people (2 double room for couples and a triple for parents and son) and we paid 280 dollars for 3 nights for the double and a little more for the triple which was WAY TO EXPENSIVE for what we got. The rooms were very very...

I stayed at this hostel after the hostel in which I had made a reservation (Petra Hostel) said they were full (in my view, had deliberately overbooked) and transferred (sold?) five of us to the New Palm Hotel. We were immediately confronted by the manager who was aggressive and rude - yelling at a group of older (senior citizen) travelers...

Time of Stay:July / August 2010. About 2 weeks with discontinuations. What I expected: A nice and friendly hostel, cozy with places to hang out with other travelers, to have a chat and a drink over the experiences we have made during the day. The price per night is pretty cheap so I did expect a decent hostel with decent...

I've stayed 3 days in the new Palm Hostel, and enjoyed it very much. There is plenty of common space to meet and talk with other travellers and the palestinian staff. You can use the kitchen, drink free coffee and tea and use the fast s-dsl internet. How can someone write a bad review? I only saw luckey tourists and...
