Pros: price - unbeatable for a Jerusalem 4* hotel; free wi-fi; free public / private parking; some rooms have balcony with decent views; good breakfast; nice, friendly and helpful staff; walking distance to the old city (1.5 km); Cons: rooms are rather small (especially the triple ones); worn out carpeting and shabby walls, with spots of mold here and there;

The hotel is very nice, cheap and good, that look like in a pictures. The room is clear, and quiet. The breakfast is delicious and more than enough. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The old city is very near. So that was a good hotel.

Commodore Hotel was amazing! This is a genuine review and I want anyone who is looking at this hotel to truly consider it as a place to stay. Nadel the manager is a sincerely lovely man with so much generosity and kindness. We arrived late at night in a Sunday due to security holding us in the airport for several...

This hotel is a great find. It's at the bottom of the Mt of Olives, you won't have to climb the whole hill to get there. It is very comfortable, excellent value for your money and within walking distance to the Old Town. There is also a bus stop outside if you want to ride. All the sites of Old...

The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great, including fresh waffles and omelettes made on the spot. The room was very clean, large, and the wifi was fast and worked my entire stay. All in all, the Commodore is a comfortable and pleasant stay.

For usd75/nite, i will not ask for more.. a very well kept clean hotel that is within walking distance to the old city or direct bus to Damascus gate and only 5 mins drive to Mount of Olive. Staffs are helpful especially when i requested for room change due to the noise from main road. Tip: if you are light...

First off, this hotel is very close to Temple Mount (20 minutes walking distance) so you can easily see all the sites. The room and hotel was clean, the price was good, the service was fine and the staff was friendly. I give this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because this place advertised having a business center as did...

My first visit was part of a group and this time my family decided to visit Israel and decided to stay at the Commodore. Must say that the hotel service is getting better and better. The breakfast is very much improving towards providing fresh food like freshly backed pizza, cinnamon bread, waffles and the Zaatar (Palestinian like herbs) with olive...

We stayed at the commodore for 5 days with family and friends. We were checked in early and offered a welcome drink. The room was very neat, tidy and well laid out. With a small balcony overlooking the city we had a great view of the sunset. Laila at the front desk was very helpful providing us with information we...

I stayed here recently for three nights. While the hotel is ok (despite that the location isn't conveniently connected with the public transport of west jerusalem (you will need to pay twice), I can see the hotel has ok reviews. I was however surprised by the positive comments of the service. Our experiences were quite the opposite - and the...

Dear EH81, It is really a pity to see your non realistic contradicting review that was based and affected by you having a heat stroke prior to arriving to our hotel according to you! Our air-conditioning system had no fault whatsoever and worked absolutely fine. At 76% occupancy during your stay, guests were happy and had no complaint. Despite that...
