The hotel seems very impressive when you first see it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only minus was that rooms would need a bit of refurbishing, as well as some public areas. Food was very delicious, all kinds of local meals and a separate table just for deserts. The dining room can be a bit crowded, since the buffet...

Rooms are on the small size but well laid out and comfortable. The lobby and main floor are quite attractive and free internet is available in the lobby. The buffet meals are varied and offer many choices in salads, entrees and desserts. A nice selection of breads are always available during meal hours. The staff is very friendly and helpful....

Great hotel as the base to tour the city. The staffs are exceptional. We received great service at front desk, and dining hall. I had a light cold, Adam, our server, brought me hot water and raw honey, Anas from the front desk went back and forth from his post and my home to take care of my booking; every...

If you want to visit the Old City, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Garden Tomb, the Wailing Wall and all the other incredible sights in the holiest place in the Holy Land, this is a great hotel. International clientele. I even ran into people I knew from America. Very nice. Very clean. Wonderful buffet. Had a truly great time. And...

Great friendly hotel in the middle of Jerusalem. Menu varied, lots of different nations foods. Was full board, so had vast intercontinental breakfast, although it's a Jewish hotel, so the freshness and choices of food were limited on Sabbath. The rooms all air conditioned with baths and showers, most welcome at the end of hot summer. Wi-fi was expensive, so...

Close to the old town this is the perfect location, in my opinion. Rooms are large and comfortable, lots of great parking (a MAJOR issue in Jerusalem )The only down side is a lack of swimming pool but, as we were there for only 2 nights, we could live with it. Good lifts and a very good buffet dinner and...

We stayed at this hotel for six nights half board as a base for visiting old Jerusalem, the museums and when we visited Massada, En Gedi, the Dead Sea. Bethlehem, Lachish and the Valley of Elah. Very comfortable and clean room with en suite and room safe. Good food but I guess in common with other hotels in Jerusalem, as...

We spent several days at this hotel and found it a positive experience overall. We were very thankful for unlimited internet access in the lobby area. We paid for access in our room and it worked very well. This hotel caters to large tour groups and handles them with efficiency. Service was fine, the room was clean. The buffets were...

Conveniently located to a walking distance to important Jerusalem's attractions, the hotel combines a modern design with beatiful elements of the past. The dinning options are outstanding for the price.

The Olive Tree has done a lot of work on its lobby, restaurant (great breakfast buffet!), and common areas, but still needs a lot of work on the rooms. In the rooms, the bathroom was the nicest part, the beds themselves the area most needing improvement.
