The hotel was very clean; the beds were comfortable; the food was excellent with many wonderful options; the only downfall was not having wifi in the rooms; overall experience was excellent; location was convenient and shopping available in hotel

Good location with easy walk to old city. Our room was comfortable and clean but a bit worn. Buffets are fine, not the greatest but better than many as far as quality and variety of food. Wireless was spotty. Owned by same parent as EO tours so avoid the 8 am lobby scene.

We stayed 3 nights at the Olive Tree with the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies (part of EO Tours). This hotel was great for location, cleanliness, safety and comfort. Breakfast and Dinner were included in our package and the Olive Tree served a wonderful spread with something for everyone. We loved the location, we walked from the hotel to the...

Our hotel was included in a tour price so we didn't have the option of staying elsewhere but we were not disappointed. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable (as were the public areas), shower worked well with some lovely toiletries provided. The evening meal and breakfast had many options and was beautifully cooked and hot even though buffet style. Staff...

As a Holy Land Traveler we stayed there for 3 nights in 3/14. A well used large hotel that has been a standby many years for travelers. It is very safe and comfortable. Slow free WiFi connections in lobby, some had more luck. Three dining rooms needed for their many travelers. Food was good, tasty & served buffet style. Our...

Room was fine and lobby/lounge area was nice. Disappointed that free wifi was not in the rooms as the EO info said free wifi in hotels. Also we had some very warm days and the air was not turned on. This was in late Feb early March, 2014. Enjoyed food and dining room the first three days but we were...

The Olive Tree was the nicest place we stayed in Israel and Jordan. It is conveniently located to Old Jerusalem with helpful staff. There are nice shops in the hotel and a very nice/large lounge. A half hour walk from the Damascus Gate of Old Jerusalem and in the midst of several other hotels.

The Olive Tree rooms are small but very well appointed. The room was attractively furnished and the king bed was very comfortable. There wasn't an abundance of space, but having two chairs was very convenient. The refrigerator and room safe were also super convenient. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were much better quality than our first hotel in Israel. The...

stayed at the olive tree for 6 days. great accomodation and food. the higher floor you live on the better to get a view of the city. the food is great but occasionally gets boring as menus may be repeated too often. had one night great americal meal menu which was welcome change and delicious.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay here. The only downside was you could only get WiFi in the lobby. Our room was comfortable, clean and large with a small terrace that looked out on the city. Breakfast and Dinner were good, lots of choices, fresh and well stocked buffet-style. Staff was polite, eager to help. All in all, this is...
