This might seem an unlikely place for a Scottish guesthouse, but it is excellently sited just outside the old, walled city of Jerusalem. With the atmosphere of a gentleman's club, library, terrace and comfortable bedrooms, this is a wonderful place to stay. The tariff includes an extensive buffet breakfast. Bedrooms are large, clean, airy, air conditioned and without TV (a...

We stayed here 3 nights and loved the proximity to The Old City, but soon realized that we had a room whose proximity near the hotel central staircase, and with the building's efficient accoustics, we heard every person coming and going, and especially those guests muddling around the entrance lobby. Their conversations, laughter, etc. all reverberated up! There are also...

We enjoyed our four night stay here very much. The staff is really helpful and the breakfast is quite good. The terrace view of the old city is fantastic, especially at night. Wonderful history of the church and guesthouse property. The lounge area is comfortable and inviting. Limited dining options within a five to ten minute walking distance and it's...

We stayed at St Andrews for 5 days in October 2013. It was an excellent experience. We loved the lack of TV, the austere and very clean environment. The breakfast was plentiful and idiosyncratic. One can eat outside with a view of the Old City and the walk is about 20min to Jaffa Gate - but through an interesting residential...

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. The rooms are older and very plain, but clean and adequate. I booked early, but we were given room 207 in the back, with a garden view. There is a rooftop terrace you can use instead and we always ate our breakfast on the front terrace. Even in the back...

Very nice little hotel, modest but charming. Some old European style. The room was clean, the stuff helpful and the breakfast good and nice presented. They have parking too. But the most important is a location with an outstanding view.

Jerusalem hotels are very expensive, and this explains the USD190/night for two in a small room, in this guesthouse, but the location and, if you get the right side, the view, are fantastic. It is walking distance from the new "tachanah" "place to be and the old city (Jaffa gate), Mt. Zion, German colony ++ , has parking, a very...

The guest house just finished renovation, so all the rooms are very clean, warm, cozy. The new room design is very simple style. It's located near old city and only have around 20 minutes walking distance to the old city Jaff gate. The hotel located very quiet place and have a big garden outside. You can sitting at there to see...

Highly recommended for unspoiled people. Best location. Great rooms and view of the old city. Nice atmosphere. Walking distance to many places. Good breakfast. Parking. What else can you ask for? Better looking than in the pictures.
