a small friendly hotel, well placed for walking the city. Room recently modernised, plenty of hot water and a good choice for breakfast. Exactly what we wanted! Would stay here again. Reception staff superb.

I did not stay at this hotel but off stopped a couple of times to meet a tour and an airport taxi as I was staying in a serviced apartment without a telephone across the road. The reception manager could not have been more helpful. Offered me a cup of coffee while I was waiting for my taxi - remember...

Just one stop on the light rail from the Old City I spent a week at the Montefiore. Very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast bar was excellent. Shops in the area included a small supermarket, restaurants and cafes, clothes and souvenirs.

They refer to this hotel as a boutique hotel, however it is essentially a small, older establishment that is a bit dingy. The location is quite good, as it is near the market and shopping district-- it is about a 15 minute walk to the Old City. And being on a pedestrian street, it was not too loud with traffic....

El Al lost my luggage and one member of staff got some razors for me (on Friday evening in Jerusalem not an easy task) on his break, so kind. The...

This hotel is simple and pleasant, it has a very helpful reception that will solve all logistical issues (airport, city transportation etc...) within minutes. Rooms are clean and the best of all is the silence (small closed street)

I love the location of this hotel and the surrounding atmosphere. Very safe, I traveled late at nights as our meetings finished after 10 pm. Friendly staff and service. Very clean rooms. Nice meals. I would highly recommend Montefiore - nice family atmosphere!

We brought our elderly parents on a trip. WE booked 2 rooms. We chose the wrong hotel as the rooms were too small for four people to visit at the end of the evening. Within 30 minutes our our arrival, I went to the front desk and politely asked how much notice I needed to give to cancel our reservation,...
