We stayed at the Arthur for a week. It was pleasant and comfortable, but not amazing. The front desk staff was uneven -- some were very friendly and helpful and others were disinterested and distinctly unhelpful. The breakfasts were nice and the servers were all extremely courteous. We loved the location right in the middle of the Ben Yehuda/Yaffa area,...

Excellent location where one can wander round lots of shops and restaurants and only about 10 minutes walk from the Old City. Great reception staff who were helpful with everything. Our room (twin bedded) was on the small side but quiet and otherwise comfortable. Breakfast served in the small dining room was a typical Israeli/Palestinian selection of mostly savoury dishes...

Boutique hotel in the heart of the action. Building has lots of character; terrfic breakfast and happy hour with lovely indoor or patio seating; walking distance to Old City, restaurants, lively street scene of street muscians and art placements, outdoor cafes, great shopping. Hotel room is small but comfortable. Nice balcony to sit and watch the street action. Can be...

This is a small hotel, centrally located in Jerusalem. It is either walking distance or a short taxi ride to all sites of interest. The Yehuda Mehane open air market is only a ten minute walk. The hotel offers a substantial free buffet breakfast every morning and happy hour every evening (except Shabbat). The staff are extremely friendly and attentive....

I had the opportunity to visit Jerusalem for the first time recently, and spent 3 days/3 nights at the Arthur Hotel. It was a fabulous little place and very well-run. Cozy and the service is excellent. Breakfast is fantastic if you understand that you are in Israel and won't be getting the "bacon, scrambled eggs and pancakes" treatment...but instead get...

We just finished a week long stay at this hotel and had a great experience. Service is very good and the breakfast and happy hours are very good. Great location and extremely quiet rooms, surprisingly quiet for a downtown hotel.

This is a very, very good choice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for getting to all the places you'll want to see, BUT just be aware that the street outside the hotel can be loud in the evening.
