Can not say enough good things about this hotel. Had a lovely room with balcony. Room was clean and lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was on top floor with beautiful view....and food was amazing along with service. The owner, manager, every member of the hotel treated us like family. Nirvana at the front desk was...

This hotel is really well located, in a lively part of East Jerusalem and a short walk to Damascus Gate. I have to say I am surprised by the extremely positive reviews, the hotel is run down and the bathroom had a foul smell constantly. The service was ok, WiFi worked well in the rooms, but the breakfast was repetitive...

We have been traveling the world and visited over 65 Countries so far (not as Backpackers) and we have to say that the service at this Hotel was exceptional. We had called up the Hotel from Tel Aviv asking if we could park at the Hotel as we would arrive early. We used "Here" that locates the Hotel perfectly as...

As a frequent business traveler to Jerusalem for over 25 years, it was a pleasant surprise that the National Hotel was reopened and completely renovated a few years ago. Since then I have stayed with groups and individually at the hotel several times. The rooms are well done and comfortable with tile floors and a more contemporary decor with flat...

This is a great hotel. Walking distance from Damascus and herodes gate. We stayed at wonderful room, with big windows and even bigger balcony. We had some minor troubles with the maintenence of the room which was promptly fixed with a lot of kindness and attention from the manager, Mr Mohammed. Everyone is really kind and nice. All of thestaff...

My dad and I are Christians and this was a hotel that respected that and took great care of us. Nirvana took us in as her family and I think we spent more time talking at the front desk than in our room. The location was perfect and we in the middle of all that we need whether it be...

On our recent family trip to Israel we spent 4 nights in the National Hotel Jerusalem. Israel gets a lot of bad press but our family including 3 small children felt very safe. This hotel in east Jerusalem is excellent value for money and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The service provided was first class. The hotel is...

We stayed here for 5 nights and I cannot praise the professional and friendly attitude of the staff highly enough. The excellent service began even before we arrived, arranging our airport transfers. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival. Our rooms (all three) were ready and beautifully clean and check in was swift and easy. The restaurant on...

The hotel is strategically located at the heart of Jerusalem. It is in the Muslim quarter very near to the Old City. It is a base going to Bethlehem, Hebron, Jaffa, Jericho and Jerusalem. If you care to walk, the various gates/historical sites are ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel. Is has local shops nearby and across it is...
