The hotel is centrally located in the Old City and short walks to all the important cites there. The Damascus gate is less than 5 minute walk away. The ownership and majority of guests are Muslim. We are not, but were made to feel very welcome. Not a luxurious hotel....rooms are simple but clean. View from 4th floor balcony is...

We travelled to Israel for a long weekend and stayed at the Hashimi Hotel following several recommendations. The hotel is situated within a busy souk so be prepared to manage your luggage from the Damascus gate across cobbled stairs and pathways which is approximately a 15 minute walk. All the historical sights are within vicinity which is the hotels strongest...

I spent 4 days at this charming hotel and I felt really safe in this beautiful City. Also, Try to make time and visit the West Bank if you like How to get there from Ben Gurion Airport: you can get a Sheirut9shared taxi) from outside the airport for 62Shekel and it will drop you near Damascus Gate. You will...

Stayed at Hashimi Hotel in March 2017. This hotel is about a 20-minute walk from Damascus Gate in the Muslim Quarter. Since we were in Jerusalem to visit the religious and historical sights, this hotel was the perfect base for us as it was so close to Church of Holy Sepulchre. Food and shopping is right outside the door and...

I stayed at Hashimi Hotel last week and it was exceptional. The rooms were clean and spacious, and well looked after. The view from the rooftop amazing, and location (10 minute walk to al-Aqsa) ideal. Best of all was the hospitality and beautiful character of everyone working at the hotel. The guys cleaning the room, the ones at the front...

Fabulous hotel, reasonably priced, popular with people from everywhere, great food and breakfast. Convenient location, within walking distance of Damascus Gate and the Al Aqsa and all the other sites within the old city, highly recommended. Staff were always helpful and attentive.

We went on an Islamic tour of Jerusalem and this hotel is just right. Its within a stones throw of the Al Aqsa complex in the heart of the Old City. Very close to Damascus gate. The hotel is clean and the staff are brilliant. The ommelettes are to die for at breakfast. The shower is hot and powerful just...

Beautiful decor and stunning views from our room. Reservation staff went out of their way to accommodate for my family. Will definitely be returning again soon IA!
