Lovely Hotel with the perfect location.
Beautiful design, comfortable and clean rooms, perfect for a weekend stay in the big city.
Very pleasant and service minded staff.
Breakfast is served in the bar near the reception, small but with great a great variety and fresh.
Loved that there is a free wine bar, coffee and snacks and of course the 2 floor rooftop with comfy seating areas.

We were a little unsure about the location of the hotel but should not have worried since it is right in an older part of the city with many places to eat and drink within walking distance.

We arrived early but the staff were accommodating and after a short wait our room was ready. It faced the street but was quiet though small. However, compared to some hotel rooms in Paris this was huge! The shower and w.c. were in glass cubicles within the room, which was fine but no privacy shoudl you want it.

Breakfasts were excellent with a good choice of food, and the free wine was a plus - though we found that after some guest has been there several times the wine ran out.

Front of house staff were excellent and welcoming and were helpful, even at 3 am, when we had to leave for the airport. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed a six night stay in this really lovely hotel. We were greeted on arrival by the most friendly staff and they didn’t disappoint during our whole stay. They were helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay one to remember.
The breakfast was excellent and catered for most tastes and the coffee machine in the lobby was one of the best we’ve ever had in a hotel.
The rooftop garden was delightful and we enjoyed our coffee up on the roof most afternoons.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back some time very soon. The location is great and we walked everywhere, it’s especially close to Neve Tsedek which is a great place to walk around at night.

+ great service
+ perfect location
- room is very small, we stayed in a superior room and it was still very small. The toilets where a part of the room, two inch in front of our bed and seperated by one door. Not very comfortable, no need to explain... Same with the shower on the other side of the bed. The water tap and mirror area also very minimal... for the price we paid and the room being superior, I expected more.
Bottom line, next time will try a different hotel.

We loved staying in this charming boutique hotel. For us, it was so much better than the larger luxury hotels on the beach. Everyone at The Vera was so friendly and helpful! We felt like we got such personalized attention.

The decor and design of The Vera is chic & clean. The rooms are small but perfectly appointed with everything we needed… nice bathroom & shower, a small sofa in the room, king-size comfortable bed, a small desk, and a wardrobe. There were outlets on both sides of the bed for charging devices.

Also, the ground floor level of the hotel is lovely. They serve an amazing breakfast there each morning, and you can sit indoors or outdoors on the charming patio. All day long they have chilled water, coffee, espresso & lattes, small cookies, and wine available for us to help ourselves! This was SO nice! We loved coming back from long walks in the city and relaxing on the patio with some chilled water and a glass of wine.

The location is fabulous, too. It’s just off Rothschild Blvd, which is a nice walking Blvd. We walked everywhere from here… Old Jaffa, Carmel Market, the beach, and lots of good restaurants.

We highly recommend The Vera and would absolutely stay there again if we return to Tel Aviv!

The place had a young buzz to it - young friendly staff, willing to talk, be helpful and go out of their way to make your stay good - they were the highlight. The the great location int he heart of the city worked well for visiting most sites and the free on tap wine and amazing breakfasts were a real bonus. We had a pair of rooms that enabled our daughter to have her own room adjoining ours which was excellent. Not at all cheap but worth the money,

Small very well thought-out hotel with flawlessly helpful staff. It's in a great location near cool restaurants and party spots. The hotel has bikes for guest use and the beach is only 7mins away down this amazing cycle path which follows a former railway line. The rooftop seating area makes you feel like you're in LA. The breakfast will make you put on 10kg of weight because you'll want to try every single yummy fresh local delicacy they prepare. The hotel is small but makes excellent use of the available space. The staff go out of their way to help without being in your face. You just feel very well looked after. For example they don't just clean the rooms in the mornings, in the evening someone also looks in if you're out and switches on the bedside lamp and might leave you a note about the next morning's yoga class. So you always feel welcomed and like you come back to the perfect homely situation.
And! There's free local wine on tap! Need I say more?
Can only recommend...

From our friendly, efficient check in to our departure (staff allowed us to shower as we had a late flight) our stay was faultless. A small boutique hotel in the hub of downtown Tel Aviv, The Vera team have thought of every detail to ensure your stay is a good one. Comfortable beds with quality linen, big walk in showers with organic bathing products, bathrooms equipped with vanity mirrors, enough hooks to hang your towels, robes, slippers etc. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The rooftop area, a beautiful oasis to escape the busy city below. The hospitality even extends to free water and wine to enjoy! I’ll definitely be returning.

Our “V” or Vera (Duckworth) was a much loved “soap” character on the world’s longest running soap opera (drama series) Coronation Street (UK)). With this premise in mind , I would think of the Vera hotel as a “ much loved hotel”.

The Cosy or Classic rooms maybe compact to say the least but have all the extras you would expect in a top hotel from slippers to a decent hairdryer. If you want some space go for a larger room..Bathrooms are similarly small but well thought out. My only real gripe is the wheel tap which takes a bit of getting used to!

Where the hotel scores highly is the staff and service….. really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The lobby of this boutique is atmospheric and the free wine machine means that many people will be more than satisfied! There is also a coffee machine and cold/ still or sparkling water tap too. Tasty snacks and biscuits will ensure you that the moment you arrive back at this boutique hotel you don’t need to go straight to your room! A complimentary typical Israeli breakfast is served in the lobby will not leave you disappointed unless you want your typical American or UK brekkie!

The roof terrace is on two levels and has a few sun beds and chairs but space is limited. There is use of a nearby gym for the active but if you are looking for a hotel with lots of space and large pool area then this hotel is not for you. I have stayed here twice for 4 days on each occasion and I don’t remember seeing a child!…. A welcome break for some! A lovely hotel for “no fuss” comfort and a city break.

We stayed at The Vera for 7 days and we had a great overall stay. The staff is really wonderful. When coming and going we were always met with a smile and a friendly greeting. Any request we had for them was immediately satisfied. The breakfast is included in the room rate and they have a wonderful spread of high quality, fresh and mostly organic foods. They also have a free wine bar and it was a very nice touch. They also have a free coffee machine at your disposal (a fancy one that grinds the beans on demand). Also, the hotel is located a block off Rothschild Boulevard and there are restaurants, bars, shops etc a stone's throw away. So the location cannot be beat.
The rooms are small - this may be a drawback if you are more than a couple.
The other drawback (which the hotel cannot control) is that there is a big construction project going on two doors down and this will probably be going on for a long time. But all of Tel Aviv is seemingly under construction.
We recommend the hotel highly.
