I look forward to coming back to Tel Aviv many many times. And I will hopefully stay at this hotel each time if they will have me.
Rooms have been neglected for a long while, furnitures are broken and curtains are dirty. The carpets in the corridors were not vacuumed for a while (they showed me 3 rooms before I decided to leave).
The hotel area is all under construction which can happen, but they are choosing not to share this fact with guests upfront.
I left without having an alternative solution. The hotel manager contacted me the day after but never apologised nor showed any empathy whatsoever. FYI
But even more impressive was the amazing staff. My plane arrived at 4 am and I got to the hotel at 5 am. The staff graciously went ahead and gave me a room. The room was clean and comfortable. The manager and staff leaned forward to help with restaurant recommendations, a nearby fitness center, and with laundry service. The staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating.
When I return to Tel Aviv, I will not even consider another hotel. I will definitely stay again at the Jacob Samuel on Dizengoff Street!

The place is designs very well, I was upgraded to deluxe room, still the room was a bit small.
The main problem is that it was very noisy, the room was located in the second floor it was a weekend and covid-19 lockdown, still there was a lot of traffic and I could hear everything, I thought the window was open but when I checked and it wasn't.
If you book a room there just pick the 6 floor.
Secondly, our room we actually the shelter, the safe room. We came for a vaction, break from military service, and i i found myself in a shelter on my vaction.
The restaurant on the ground floor just annoying to enter and exit the hotel.
The only positive thing is the location.
"Nola cafe next to the hotel serves the best coffee in Dizengoff. Dizengoff cafe near the hotel serves pretty good Israeli style breakfasts."Read full review
