Great alternative to the large chain hotels if you are looking for an economical place to stay that is clean and in a good part of Tel Aviv. I did not use their breakfast, so I can't provide any comment on that.

This is a very clean hotel with a helpful, friendly staff. Located near restaurants and a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The breakfast was good, but perhaps the addition of hard boiled eggs would make it great. During our stay it was hot and humid and the air conditioning unit in the room really worked well, keeping the room...

The hotel is very close to the beach and to the promenade where you have several nice restaurants. Service is friendly (especially while breakfast) the reception makes sometimes a bored impression. Breakfast is ok. Main point for us is the location of the hotel.

Five of us stayed in 3 rooms for a week while visiting Tel Aviv for a family wedding. We had high hopes for this hotel and while our stay was comfortable, I feel that The Port does have some areas for improvement. Our ground floor double room was small and as it overlooked the outdoor seating area, had only a...

Spent one night at this wonderful little hotel. Great location near the Port. Very very service oriented. For example, when we arrived very early (before noon), we were told our room was ready and we can put luggage there and it was ours. Also, the extremely nice person at reception (red headed gal with glasses) said "don't forget towels for...

Tel Aviv: a breath of fresh, Westernized air when sandwiched between rugged, desert excursions in Egypt and Jordan (especially during Ramadan). The Port Hotel offered a much needed sanctuary for my friend and I who visited Tel Aviv for a few days (July 6-9). The staff were extremely friendly as soon as we set foot in the door. We arrived...

Me and my husband are local and live in Tel-Aviv, yet this time we decided to stay in a hotel in Tel-Aviv for the Gay Pride weekend last June. I must say that we looked for a reasonable price and at the end, we choose the Port Hotel which we heard of. It was an amazing weekend and the location...

I stayed at the Port Hotel for business as we had a convention we attend nearby. We find the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and the hotel staff always smiled and was very helpful with arranging us a taxi and even packed breakfast (as we had to leave very early) We will definitely come again to this hotel.

TLV hotels have gotten very pricey at the high end so we prefer small places in interesting sections. The Port Hotel fits this bill. Low cost, good service and functional (if small) rooms. The surrounding area is close to the water and the Port with its many shops and cafes. Hotel staff cheerful and helpful. Free breakfast might, however, include...
