We are Marriott Gold members who have stayed in Marriott properties ranging from Residence Inns to Ritz Carltons all over the world -- including other Renaissance Hotels. We are also experienced travelers in Israel, and have stayed in Israeli brand hotels all over Israel. We recommend the Renaissance for those coming to Tel Aviv. Okay, the hotel is really not...

This is a great choice of hotel on the beach. I was warned that this hotel was old by several people, although happy to say that rooms have been renovated. Up to standard of most hotels of a similar comparison. I like the location - convenient to walk to Ben Yehuda, Dizengoff, ... Service slightly slow, especially check in and...

In a country where great service isn´t the rule, but rather the exception, this hotel is exceptional. The welcome is warm and personal, the assistance from the bell-captain impeccable. The rooms are rather small, but well maintained and all overlooking the beach and the Mediteranean. The free internet access worked perfectly. The breakfast is good, the indoor pool great on a...

One of several hotels on the beach. Not brand new, but refurbished nicely so that one gets a clean and pleasant sense of the old and the new. Staff was very pleasant and met all of our needs with a smile.

Indoor pool is large enough to actually swim lengths. The whole health club area is very nice. Rooms are clean, reasonably modern, spacious, and well-equipped. Housekeeping is attentive and offers evening services. Bell captain and front desk were quite helpful. They did their best to make parking easier for us when we checked in. The location on the beach is...

Most of the comments I wrote a couple of years ago are still valid today. Apart from the location, directly in front of the beach, there is nothing exceptional about this hotel. The only improvement is a better quality of service and people more eager to help. It is not admissible that in a five-star hotel, it remains impossible to...

The Renaissance is located on the beach with lovely views from the balconies. The breakfast buffet is substantial and includes freshly made-to-order omelets. The dining room is spacious, with large windows facing the beach.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at the Renaissance in Tel Aviv. From check in to check out, the service was superb. The manager, Julia, spoiled us with a beautiful tray of fresh fruit. wine, a delicious cake decorated for the occasion and handmade chocolate. We enjoyed the heated indoor pool each morning and the rich breakfast that had an amazing...

The Renaissance is in a great location, right on the beach on the north end of the strip in Tel Aviv. Rooms were clean, but on the small side. The hotel is a bit dated, but the location makes up for that. It is pricey for what you get, but that seems par for the course for Tel Aviv. The...

The hotel is at a very good location and has rooms overlooking the beach. It has two accesses, with one of them towards the beach. The beach access is better not used for any check in purpose as it can be confusing. The rooms are well ventilated and the airconditioning system works well. One has an option of using the...
