Good situation in the very center of Tel Aviv. The seafront is just ten minutes walk and there are a lot of restaurants and bars in the area. Staff really friendly and effective. You nearly feel at home. Comfortable and good sized rooms (some with balcony at the first and second floor). Good breakfast with a large choice of local...

Our friends stayed here last year and absolutely raved about it. We managed to book for ourselves this October. Lovely authentic old cinema transformed into an hotel. Small but good, clean, double bedrooms with bathroom in the art deco style with mirrored walls, black and white bathrooms. Excellent buffet breakfast but you can order delicious porridge or eggs any style etc....

Rooms small, but nice, and clean. Staff most helpful. Buffet breakfast excellent. Loved the lemonade and mint tea and cookies in the lobby 24/7. Great location for restaurants, safe walking, and shopping in local stores, with quiet nights for good sleeping. The rooftop bar and "happy hour" were a bonus!

Stayed here for two nights coming in on a 16 day tour with Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) and one night, barely, as we left for the airport in Tel Aviv eight hours after checking in. Great little hotel. You can really bump up the air conditioning which I appreciated. Outstanding bar and rooftop gathering place. Definitely loved the atmosphere and...

This hotel used to be a cinema theatre called Esther. It was one of the largest ones in Tel-Aviv Here they took elements from the cinema and done it as a theme. Sounds corny but for dome reason it is ok and nicely done. The rooms are in fare size and the staff is great. Breakfast is with great Israeli...

Nice small rooms, very clean. Most important after a long day of sightseeing, it was quite and I could get some sleep. Food was buffet style and very tasty. Located close to shopping, banks, etc. Staff was helpful and filled my water bottle up several times.

Yes, the Cinema hotel is Bauhaus and has been a cinema. The halls and rooms are stuffed with cinema memorabilia, from posters to vintage cameras. The room equipment works fine, the rooms are clean (ours also was quiet). Breakfast is superb - what a change from central European or North American fare: no cut meat, but various fish, many vegetables...
