We stayed at this lovely hotel late November and loved it. The rooms are clean, and we had a view of the water and the hotel is centrally located to many attractions in the city. The receptionist Noam was extremely helpful and very personable. She spent a long time advicing me about available day trips outside of Tel Aviv as well as ways to get to these venues by public transportation. She also followed up with calls to make sure tours were still running. I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

We stayed at the Melody from Oct. 7th to Oct. 10, 2023, arriving the day of the Hamas attack on Israel. We were to begin a 12-day private tour of Israel, which would now be impossible, and because we were not part of a tour group, we were on our own to secure our safe return to the U.S. The staff of the Melody were instrumental in this. They found and helped us secure tickets from Tel Aviv to Cyprus on a small Israeli airline, and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 1:00 in the morning in order to avoid the chaos expected at the airport later that morning. During our stay, the staff were calm, professional, compassionate, and attentive. The hotel itself was lovely: upscale, comfortable and well-appointed. The morning breakfast provided was delicious and ample, featuring local cuisine. The coffee was divine! And the afternoon wine and appetizers were varied and tasty. The hotel is located a short walk from the beach. Despite the difficult circumstances, we enjoyed our stay at the Melody, and recommend it to anyone visiting Tel Aviv.

Excellent hotel. Location is one block from a beautiful beach and the boardwalk that goes all the way to Jaffa. Breakfast and happy hours were excellent. Staff was very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the hotel at mid-week between holidays. The check-in/out was really easy, the happy hour was splended (free wine and finger-foods).As it was a birthday, they left sone treats in the room (coctails and nuts). The room was comfy, hreat sea view. The terrace was nice and the breakfast was rich and tasty. Highly recomended

We enjoyed a charming updated room overlooking the sea. The breakfasts were copious with a variety of hot and cold options changing daily. Happy hour drinks and munchies were a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the concierge staff. Close to the beach and an interesting neighborhood in the Dizengoff, Ben Yeuda area, the Melody off right

Pros: - very close to Hilton Beach and the park - safe environment - I stayed in the sea view room. The room has a beautiful view of Hilton Beach (no terrace). The room was comfy and beautiful at a reasonable price. - Delicious and variety of breakfast, free flow of snacks and wine every day from 5-7 pm. - complimentary yoga class on rooftop every Wednesday and Sunday - helpful and polite staff - easy to communicate with the hotel through Whatsapp. I could easily ask for some arrangements/questions/ make changes to my booking. - Beautiful rooftop for sunbathing though it's a bit small.   Con: - Noise from the road at night as all the rooms facing the sea also face the road as well. It's not always loud, but if you have a sleeping problem, I'd suggest you request a room not facing the road.

A cozy hotel with a warm, personal touch. Rooms are charming and nicely maintained. The 5-7 pm happy hour with drinks and an array of appetizers is very welcome after a day at the beach or sightseeing. The front desk staff is very helpful. Beach towels are provided at the front desk, as well as water bottles, and small sachets of sunscreen. Bikes are available as well. Although the rooms are small, they are sufficient in size and the rate is a good deal less than the Hilton, for instance, which is located across the main road. The “premium” room, which we had, works well for two people, not more. If you are traveling with children, they are well set up for adjacent rooms; you just have to book a bit in advance. There is a Nespresso machine in the room, and complimentary soft drinks in the mini fridge. The bathroom is clean but small. There is a clothesline in the bathroom, but if you plan to spend a lot of time on the beach, I would bring more than one set to allow the previous day’s swimwear to dry out—there is no balcony. Air-conditioning works well. The location is excellent. If you cross HaYarkon and go past the park, you are at the Hilton beach, as well as a couple of family-friendly beaches. A walk or bike/scooter further down on the boardwalk takes you to the Gordon public pool, and the rest of the active beach life of Tel Aviv. The area around the hotel, heading towards Ben Yehuda street and Dizengoff Street has lots of cafes, restaurants, and a 24-hour grocery stores.
