Staying here for 2 nights with a group tour I'm on and am pleasantly surprised. Clean room with everything I need in it. Friendly service anytime I've needed it. Have found it quiet (but on 4th floor). Coffee too expensive, but little shop next door...More
The Retaj hotel is very good, clean and in excellent condition. Staff are helpful, breakfast is diverse and plentiful. Situated however on a main road only drawback, ask for a room at the back. Comfy big lounge and well appointed.
Lack of service coffee not included with breakfast which look really funny to be able to get more extra money room too noisy specially the room with road view to go and try to figure out you get no good answer at all
This is a really reasonable hotel in Amman. The staff are very friendly and the rooms were comfortable. It is a 5-10 taxi to the downtown area but taxis are cheap if you agree a price. Approx 2-3 dinar.

Taxi's are metered, cost is about $25JD from airport. Make sure they turn on the meter unless you can haggle a price lower, otherwise they will run up a price. Uber is available, but do not recommend as it has not been legalized and if you get pulled over the Uber driver is put at risk of losing his vehicle.
