I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during March 2012. As I was in Amman for business reasons it provided a good base to allow me to get around town easily enough as its location on a main road allowed me to get taxis at any time I needed one. The hotel is only about 3 or 4

Taxi's are metered, cost is about $25JD from airport. Make sure they turn on the meter unless you can haggle a price lower, otherwise they will run up a price. Uber is available, but do not recommend as it has not been legalized and if you get pulled over the Uber driver is put at risk of losing his vehicle.
