Due to a last minute change in our bookings at another hotel down the road, we were put up in this hotel for 2 nights. There was something very 'sterile' about this whole experience that was not a pleasant memory for us. To begin with, the staff speaks little English and only one of them is able to answer fluently. It was a mercy to have her the next morning to help us with basics and getting around (to places like Jerash for which you can take local buses from the North bus station). The aesthetics of the hotel are below average and very poorly done. To be frank, it has the look-and-feel of a hospital with steel waiting chairs, a blank looking lift, empty long corridors and rooms with little decor. The room itself was not to our taste and the bathroom was very dirty when they handed it over (clearly had been used and not serviced). The room has basics like a TV, mini-fridge and free WiFi but it just does not seem very comfortable or cosy. The only saving grace is a good view from some of the rooms overlooking the expanse of the city over the hillside. Breakfast the next morning too was moderate and nothing to be excited about. The location is on the main turn and easy to find or hire an Uber to-and-fro. However, do know that Uber was still not fully legal when we stayed here in November 2018 and we were asked to disembark after loading our luggage for the airport ride. These are things that the staff in hotels usually warns you about or atleast mentions in a casual chat since getting around without a rental car is not easy. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience and I really wish our booking at the other boutique hotel had gone through without a hitch.

This hotel is VERY overpriced for its quality first of all. It is even an audacity to call this "hotel". It is close to the main city attractions but there are plenty of other hotels that are closer, better and cheaper, so its a good reason not to choose this hotel. The room itself is clean, but there are several things to improve: 1)There was newspaper stuck on one side of the window. I guess it was because the curtains didn't fit the entire window, but not sure. 2)The wallpaper was coming off and looked as if someone had ripped it off. 3) Water didn't work properly. Apparently they really have a problem with water, it was either freezing cold or burning hot. No warm water. We addressed the issue and they supposedly came to fix it, although we didn't notice the change. 4)The place doesn't look like a hotel... we didn't even see tourists to chat around. It looks like a government building or a residence for the elderly. 5)There were a pair of old and dirty flip flops in the room, just before the bathroom door. Not sure why anybody would like to wear them. 6)There was a normal nightstand next to the bed and on the other side there was a dirty plastic stool doing the job of a nightstand. 7) The carpet was broken. 8) You need to ask for the towels at the front desk if you want them. On the contrary, we need to recognize the good service provided by the receptionist. She really delivers luxury service and she is very attentive with guests. On the first day, we called to ask what time did the breakfast finish and although it was 11:30 am, she said she would prepare the breakfast for us. That was a very nice gesture from her and we really appreciated it! Overall, I wouldn't choose this hotel to stay in Amman simply because there are other hotels ( Like Pasha Amman Hotel) that are cheaper, have better quality, have a nice atmosphere and you can mingle with other tourists, and also are closer to downtown.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They made sure I was happy and comfortable in the room and they even asked if I wanted them to book a car for me to take me back to the airport on checkout. The downside of the place was that being a budget hotel, there was no one to answer the phone at the reception all 4 times I tried calling, they didn't have any power plug adapters (but there was a shop next to them that sold them) and they didn't have any room service for any food or water. You can find a grocery store facing the hotel though that sold pretty much everything and converted USD to JD at the right rate. I didn't have time to check their breakfast as I was out early most days on tours and trips. The room was cleaned and recently renovated but the bathroom floor was wet and didn't have any towels or shampoo/shower gel. The hotel's location itself is very close to the main archeological attractions around the city of Amman and I basically walked to the Citadel and the Temple of Hercules in one afternoon and took some great pictures. Overall, I would recommend this place for a busy traveller just as long they have a towel, shampoo and the basics with them.

This hotel was very close to many of the touristy sites in Amman such as the Amphitheater and the Citadel. The price was excellent and the staff was VERY friendly. The water worked fine for me and was a very good deal for the low price. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I have stayed here (3) times this year and always treated like royalty. The best customer service and GREAT staff. They organize trips and offer shuttle service to and from the airport for reasonable price.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The stuff is friendly, food is ok. There was an issue with hot water - there was no any. We called the desk, and they fixed it somehow. Don't expect luxury, go to Royal and pay accordingly. Would come again, most definitely.

We had booked this hotel for 3 days. It was cheap and had varying reviews so I expected a low price hotel. However, this place was really, really, really terrible. A list: 1) The window in the bathroom was extremely drafty and cold air blew into the room all night. 2) The heater barely worked and we really froze. 3) The sheets and covering smelled musty and it made me wonder about when the place was last cleaned. Freezing in musty smelling blankets and sheets was a new low even for me. 4) Hot water was in short supply and water sprayed everywhere when you took a shower. 5) There were no towels in the room. We asked and the hotel staff did provide towels after we asked. 6) The sink and bathroom area was extremely dirty. 7) We left after one night and went to a more expensive hotel. Again, I am used to low priced hotels and the lack of amenities. Still, this hotel lacked soap, warm water, towels, and toilet paper. 8) The hotel itself was run down and the carpeting was worn out. 9) It did have internet so we were able to book another place.

Me and my friend checked in at this Hotel last October 11 till October 19, 2013. Prior to booking, upon our inquiry(ies) online via email, hotel as represented by Mr. Hani, not only answers you by email, subsequently calling you also by long distance calls. When in comes to "Hotel's Cleanliness" it's like you haven't away from your own home, hygiene is daily maintained. Rooms are spacious with private bathroom. Hotel has an ample space on the 1st Floor which can be used for meetings/seminars or just simply for friends chatting. Hotel's daytime female receptionist by the name of Ms. Fadia is so much a delightful person. She contributed a lot of assistance during our stay. Above all, costs of staying is really reasonable. Wouldn't have a second thought of staying again and again in this Hotel. THUMBS UP !!!
