I stayed here on business two weeks ago for 5 nights and it was chosen due to its relatively close location to the International Exhibition Centre. Ok, so the good things first. On my arrival I was met by very friendly check in staff who informed me my room had been upgraded to a suite which was a nice touch...

Stayed here on business and never again going to Riyadh. Like stepping back 100 years (overseas calls have to be connected by reception, not sure who is listening). The staff do their best but this place is a bit of a hole based in the end of the world. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and gorgeous lobby with a great shortcoming: the finishing in the suite bathrooms. Throughout the Middle East, most bathrooms seem to have been tiled by complete amateurs. The grey mastic leaks between the tiles and the grout is smeared over the tiles resulting in a look of a filthy third world washroom. It is such...

My company booked me here for two nights to attend a conference in Riyadh. The location is close by The Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre which makes it ideal for convention visitors. The room was acceptable and makes do; however, I would never book here for a vacation. I would say it is only acceptable as a business trip...

The best thing about the Mercure is the lobby -- a reasonable place for a relaxing business meeting with drinks and light sandwiches served. The building is styled like a ship, and all the staff are dressed as sailors. That's about as far as the showmanship goes. Because the building's a boat, every room has a slightly different shape. Mine...

The hotel rooms are small but OK. Lights are a little bit dim inside rooms. It is a walking distance from many shopping malls such as Granada mall and Center Point. Breakfast is great. The staff are very friendly. The internal swimming pool is small but fine. You are away from the city center and the place is away from traffic....

In a good area of the city, attractive price even if not special. ideal if you have children because of the presence of games and activities designed for them. Definitely not the best for those seeking tranquility and service that has as often in these areas several deficiencies.

Stayed here whilst running some training programmes. Nice rooms, good wi-fi, buffet restaurant. Food was okay - could have been hotter but overall okay, if a bit boring. Hotel built in the shape of cruise liner and staff dressed in keeping with the theme (bless!). Nice lounge and coffee shop. Next to shopping mall

Rooms are old-fashioned but very spacious. The biggest problem is food quality. Breakfast is very poor and food not tasty. You have to ask waiters to refill empty buffet plats. However staff is very friendly and kind. If you ask them in advance they can ask the chief to cook your favourite dish. On the positive side, there is no...

There are definitely other options to stay in at Riyadh. Mercury Value can be an option of you want to stay closer to the airport and you have work around Granada Business Park. Loads of construction going all around the hotel and if you are allergic to dust then do look at other options. The hotel does need a make...
