It is the only place I have been during my 1 month trip across Iran where I have found grumpy and bored looking staff. Appart from that it is quite clean (appart from the wired kitchen/living room which looks like it has never been cleaned). And reasonably cheap.

Looks like there is some confusion because of two different places with the name Mashhad in Tehran. I stayed in Mashhad Hostel located in Amir Khabir St, (7 minutes from Iman Khomeini metro station and close to Golestan Palace). Its a cheap option in Tehran since prices for accomodation here are quite more expensive then other places in Iran. I...

I stayed there for several time. It's good hotel for short business trip. It has clean rooms with good furniture and lovely restaurant with city view. It's next to metro station (named Mofateh) and the hotel location is good.

16 € for a double room and we could arrive in the very early morning. But as the title says, the hotel owner was greasy, the hotel was altogether not too clean, though the room was ok. In the end we had to change money with him, because we forgot that on Friday the exchange places are closed, and he...

For $14 a night we got: - a reservation via facebook - a small and ultra basic but pretty decent room(- terrible matresses+double layer windows essential to sleep) - poor shared bathroom - not so friendy staff (at least compared with Iran average friendliness standards which are very high) - they checked us in at 6am without charging any extra...
