The Mayflower Hotel was a great hotel to stay in for a short stay in Lebanon. We got upgraded from a junior suite to an executive suite which was a duplex, the living area was downstairs with the bedroom upstairs. The apartment was a little dated but everything worked well (airconditioning, electrics, water). The location is fantastic and just a...

I've stayed at the Mayflower more than 10 times during work and pleasure trips - even took my dad there for his 70th birthday last year. It's a good-value, centrally located joint with decent rooms and a slightly 1970s vibe overall - and I mean that in the best possible way. The owners are great and perennially helpful. Beds, plumbing,...

Went on a weekend break with friends to Beirut. Fantastic city and the hotel was excellent, service was superb and the drivers we used were great as well (supplied by hotel for a fee). The hotel itself is stuck in a timewarp, this adds to the charm for me. The bar in the hotel is a typical British looking pub,...

I stayed 6 days in the Mayflower and I was very happy that I have chosen this hotel. Rooms are very comfortable with a very nice and clean bathroom. The location is perfect, you can walk to almost anywhere in Beirut. Great about it is that almost everyone knows the hotel, so it's easy to get there with a taxi....

Stayed here for 6 nights and booked online a very good rate. Worth searching for! Nice room with all the amenities. Newly renovated bathroom, tv, minibar, balcony etc. it's just all there. Only thing is that beds are quite small. Breakfast also quite good, especially the tasty croissants. I would certainly recommend it based on what I paid for a...

My room was round the back and was incredibly quiet considering the hotel’s location in the heart of Hamra. The staff in the restaurant and bar were charming and seemed to really care about customer service. It’s not flash but my room as clean and comfortable. And the happy hour(s) in the hotel bar are good value.
