I would like to thank the management and all workers in the hotel for such an outstanding hospitality for our tour group I am Fr. Samer from California leading tour group from my church 22 parishioners. It was such a good experience for all of us and positive impression for all those who are visiting Lebanon for the first time. They accommodated us and made sure that we are comfortable the rooms are outstanding the food is delicious especially the breakfast. Even the management they came and introduce themselves and they asked us what they can do to make our stay comfortable and if we need anything to let them know. The hotel is clean and it was a joy being there we miss it and hopefully when we come back we will stay in this hotel. In Christ, Fr. Samer

I Regret to Say that i did not expect this from Royal Tulip Hotel, as it is a big Name, and considered a 5 Star Hotel in Many countries. I will start with when i booked via booking.com and was asked to pay 3 days before arriving to the hotel. that was settled, and i got to pay 3 days earlier. When i got to the lobby, the receptionist looked down at me, which at first i got the impression i was not welcomed there. anyways, I gave her the payments in usd, and it took her 5 to 10 minutes making sure the dollars were not fake. In a 5 Star hotel i expect them to have a Currency Checking Machine instead of squeezing the money in different ways and methods that i've never seen before. anyways i just thought to my self that it was her personal behavior. I was already not looking forward to the hotel. Upon arrival for checking to the Hotel, the room was not ready and we had to wait 30 minutes. Checking was supposed to be by 2:00pm and we arrived by 2:30pm and waited until 3:00pm. We finally got the card, and headed to the room. We paid for a Suite, but received a Tiny Room, we were not sure whether that was the suite or not. We decided to go the swimming pool for a little swim before heading out to Beirut, and my my, the swimming pool was dirty, the environment was dusty and foot prints on the glass table, the tiles were dirty, the water was green, i bent down to smell the water, and there was no chlorine smell in it. We decided not to swim but to sit and watch the view of the city. we headed out to Beirut for the night, and got back pretty late, we took our bath everything was well, and when we woke up in the morning to have our breakfast. (Breakfast has an additional cost of $9 Per Person) we got to the breakfast section of the hotel which is also in the lobby. There was only 1 boiled egg in the pot. and some bits and pieces of food, we didn't understand what we were supposed to eat, we asked the waiter for coffee, and he provided us with cold coffee. We were just shocked from everything that was going on in the hotel, we decided to check out.. No words for what we experienced. Not worth the money. very disappointing.

Dear Ogadragon Thank you very much for your detailed review. Please be rest assured that we take feedback very seriously, constructively, and continuously look into the areas of possible improvement. We are sorry for the inconvenience during your stay for the below: - Your Booking is a non refundable booking and as terms and conditions it should be prepaid through Booking.com. - Regarding the Money, Kindly note that we already have the checking machine and we already checked with the staff concerning this matter. - Our normal check in time is at 3 pm , Nevertheless you can arrive early to the room upon availability . In regards to the Breakfast it is normally at the symphony restaurant but as an exception it was at the Lobby since we were hosting a big group at our Hotel and we kept the Lobby for our Individuals to benefit from our facilities. - Last but not least, we take feedback very seriously, constructively, and continuously look into the areas of possible improvement and we are deeply sorry the inconvenience that had happened during your stay. May we have the pleasure to welcome you again at Royal Tulip Achrafieh and change your bad experience into a positive one Kind Regards,

For the price in my opinion it is not worth it. The room I am in is facing the main road and it is very noisy. The cupboard is tiny and the rail in the cupboard is placed in an awkward position. Not much room ro walk in the room. No fresh chillies. Had to buy my own. No fresh milk for tea in the room, lierally only 2 of each: coffee, coffee mate and sugar. Bought my own from supermarket. For 5 Star no computer to check emails or check yourself in online or for office emergencies. I have stayed at a 3 Star last year. Far better value for money.
