We went here after 10 days of their re opening. The entrance fee is 10 Rials for just the use of private beach and 1 medium sized pool. The food was too expensive too! 7 Rials for 2 glasses of Juice with a service charge. Ridiculous! We were bothered by the flies while we were eating so we didn't enjoyed...

· I've been living in Muscat for nearly 3 years and always said that what it needs is a beach with a restaurant/cafe and a bar. Finally, I went to the former 'ODC' only to find that I could have built my own bar on Azaiba beach for the price of a day at the Muscat Hills Resort! The 10...

We waited to be seated at the restaurant and were greeted with 'Eating?'. We were told that all the tables with a view were reserved. The lamb and the chicken, €34.50 each, were under cooked. The side dishes arrived after the mains had been cleared. The manager was rude and said there was nothing wrong with the food. Stunning views...

We went for a day out at the beach, 5 adults. It cost 10 rials to get in with the use of a towel and sunbed but no complimentary water like some hotels provide for a similar entrance fee. The restaurant is lovely: simple and modern. However the service was dreadfully slow, 45 minutes for a table at lunchtime and...

Visited this 15-minute away resort months back with a group of friends. Location is very accessible using private car. Entrance fee of 3 riyals per adult is collected upon entry. Water activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, dolphin watching and island hopping can be arranged with instructor. Accommodation (who wants to stay over), swimming pool, restaurants and bar are also...

We went to the Oman Dive Center several times during the daytime to relax by the beach there. It's very peaceful, women can wear bikinis, there is a restaurant with good food and alcohol can be consumed so it's great option. Popular with tourists and locals. It looked like there were also parties there on weekend evenings. Great place to...

We booked and stayed here over New Year 15/16. We went specifically to do the PADI courses. The place needs to be considered as two destinations. The hotel and the dive centre. The Hotel is fine. The Cabanas are cute and sort of ethnic (teetering between shabby chic and just broken down!) and great location right on the beach, the...

We stayed here at the beginning of January. Overall, I would not recommend staying at this resort. However, I'll start with the positives: 1) Fresh, tasty food at the buffet (although vegetarian options were very limited) 2) kitchen staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. On the second night of our stay they very kindly offered to serve me some dahl...

We used to come here alot when we lived in muscat for a day and would also bring our visitors with us . Nice atmosphere and clean and tidy surroundings . Places to eat and drink are nice nd reasonable prices. Be sure to apply the sun screen frequently if your going to spend the day here .

The beach huts here are a great place to spend a night or two right on the beach. The deal includes dinner and breakfast, both of which were surprisingly good. The hut was comfortable, spacious, and instantly relaxing. Swimming in the bay was great!
