Just went for food, and the experience was terrible. Plenty of stupid rules such as no alcohol drinks before 18:00. Food (shrimp) was frozen and the lamp chops very dried. Having frozen seafood on the seaside is unforgivably, and at 140 USD is a sin that deserves the lowest rate. The class is only in the decoration. The rest is...

I have lived in Muscat now for 2 years and I used to spend very lovely days at the Dive Club last year. Such a lovely relaxed and casual atmosphere with beautiful surroundings and lovely swimming. We would spend the day on the beach and then as the sun set we would move to the comfortable, cosy and bohemian beach...

The place is in a really nice spot but unfortunately the management is doing a very bad job. There is not enough client service and the management was very unpleasant to us. The diving center doesn't offer dives in morning and afternoon as they write. Fortunately, the people at the reception are nice and helpful as the waiters at the...

First of all it's a great location, with decent facilities, though these facilities can be found at most resorts in Muscat, so nothing special. I'll agree with past views in that it is extremely pretentious, however that does make it quirky, if that's your thing. The problems start when it comes to pricing. Normal price for entry is 10 OMR...

The Muscat hills resort used to be the Oman Dive Centre which I used to visit when I worked in Oman and it was basic but fine and unpretentious - The Muscat Hills resort is anything but. Prices are very high (5 star levels); we ate lunch there once only and for a salad and a small plate of very...

Spent a great day here, excellent Facilities and a location to die for! Drinks a bit expensive but well worth it - just what we were looking for for a day away from the cruise ship. Friendly staff and not over crowded - would recommend!

Wonderful place to spend time as a couple. New name is Muscat hills resort, also diving centre is there. Romantic place. So calm, amazing clean sea, we saw the turtle there. Friendly and helpful staff! Nice new small resort after reconstruction. White style! Spanish design, great food (spanish cook) they offer paella! Double bed for couples on beach. In rooms...

The old ODC was never much to write home about, but it was a hell of a lot more down-to-earth and affordable than the pretentious garbage I experienced yesterday. After paying the 10 Riyal entry fee to use the beach (which is still lovely) you can then only order from the snacks menu, which would be fine if you were...

One of the best places I've stumbled across in the world The most beautiful secluded little bay offers the perfect place to learn to dive and some r&r Exceptional staff and atmosphere to the place which is a perfectly blended mix of Ibizan style restaurant area and traditional beach huts as the rooms The dive centre are wonderful and saw...

We stayed here for 1 night last weekend. It is in an idyllic location. Novel accommodation in a ranch/hut on the beach. Each one is air conditioned and has large mosquito nets. The bathroom is novel, quite modern but open air with walls and a roof which do not meet. They are private but can hear everything going on in...
