Room to move with a most comfortable bed. Great for breaking the flight, and having a quick look to see if it is worth a longer visit. Close to everything, with a restaurant, but if closed, there is also a Cafe.

Been staying at this hotel for several weeks while waiting to be transferred to an different hotel. Staff is friendly, Rooms are outdated and the internet is a nightmare, frequent leakages in the bathroom, no warm water in the morning. If you want a beer you need to visit one of the nearby hotels. can recommend the hotel for just an layover but, definitely not for long term stay

The stay itself was average. It is a no-thrills experience but you get what you pay for. What I can comfortably say is that you can pay more in a neighbouring hotel and still expect the same service level. The staff were friendly, albeit a little slow when resolving issues. Be persistent with them and things will get done.

Loved staying here because of friendly staffs. Few Bangladeshi hospitality providers are there excellent. Usually most of the hotels in Doha are full of rough and rude staffs. But this one I found quit good. But unfortunately the food in restaurent is not up to the mark. Rooms provided with amenities. house keeping guys are very good, anything you ask for arrives within few minutes. Iron board and iron, safety box in room, hanger with closet, TV with lots of channels, table with chair and fine carpeted. Roof top swimming pool, gym. Overall comparing to Qatar price it's a good deal.

Nice hotel, Good rooms and excellent location. Cleanliness need to be improved same as room service. I had only breakfast in hotel which was ok. The main issue is the parking. Although hotel having parking but they are not allowing guests to use it and in some hours it's so difficult to find parking nearby and you have to park in an unshaded place under Doha's sun.

The rooms are good and spacious no doubt, but I found most of the staff quite unfriendly; barring one or two. Otherwise, I was never greeted usually by any other staff. During my 1st day at breakfast, when I requested a cup of coffee, the guy made a huge "sigh" face as if burdened by what I requested. I ordered my dinner from outside on one of the days and the front desk guy refused to send the delivery upstairs. When asked to send it with the bellboy, he told me on the phone with an impatient tone that it might "take quite a while" to send it unless I come down and collect it. The staff definitely need a training on how to speak and deal with guests.

Arrived at Doha airport at 1.00am and the driver was waiting for me as arranged. It's only ten minutes to the hotel and as soon as I arrived I was given the key to my room which was spacious, clean and comfortable with a huge bed - very welcome after a long flight. There was some noise from the nearby mosque but that's only to be expected and didn't prevent me from getting a good sleep. The pool on rooftop looked tempting but as my time in Doha was so limited I didn't use it. The view from the rooftop is terrific. Breakfast offered a decent selection of either Middle Eastern or Western options although it would have been far better to have glasses rather than plastic cups for fruit juice. Great location for the Museum of Islamic Art, which was superb, and the Souq.

Having stayed in neighbouring hotel such as Saraya Corniche and Swiss Belhotel, I do not think it is a fair comparison for Gloria Hotel to be 4 star. It's a good hotel no doubt, but you just can't compare her to a 4 star standard. The complimentary airport transfer is very welcoming which others do not offer. On the room, it is typical Doha style quite spacious. However I think they should advertise their room as having shower only, and not "separare shower and bath" which is the case for Saraya and Swiss Belhotel. Was told bathtub is only available for suites. Stayed one night, quite nice room... but perhaps housekeeping ought to clean properly, shower clogged with unremoved hair from past guests. Breakfast really limited selection, make your own coffee from coffee powder... I don't have any issues with this hotel, but just think 4 star has a 4 star standard and this is definitely not one. Overall acceptable stay.
