Check in a bit messy due to World Cup crazyness but night manager Abdul did a great job of handling dozens of early check ins , price was very fair for a World Cup Saturday stay, half to 1/3 of the price of comparable hotels and 1/4 price of Ramada in same building, confusingly Ramada shares the same lobby area. ROom was huge but a bit dated.

My friend booked for 3 days and 2 nights. When he arrived at night,he got shocked that the hotel is under construction and yet they still accept booking. The hallways are too dark but he still stayed because it's late already and he needs to take a rest and anyways,we came here for the pool. But the next day, when we decided to go to the pool such a big disappointment, the pool has a lot of bird sh*t. So we decided to shorten the stay and check out already as it's too much. When we're checking out, because it's almost 3pm the receptionist deducted our refund money. It's like with all the things we encountered here,he still managed to charged us and not empathise with us. Unbelievable!!!!

As a hotelier, I really don't like giving negative feedbacks about a hotel. Until I checked In here. Spend your money elsewhere. Until now I really can't believe that this is a so called "4 star hotel". I've been to a backpacker's Inn and a motel that is CLEANER and WELL MAINTAINED than this hotel. This is the first time in my life I felt disgusted to seat on a hotel sofa and chair. Hotel is in desperate need of renovation, dirty carpet, and there was a cockroach in our room. See attached photos. Everything is below standard. From staff to facilities. Seems to me the management does not care anymore.

the place is good, lighting not good, the room is dim, the food however is not good especially the breakfast and might i suggest, please, that the hotel provide a chair or small table outside EACH room so you can just leave the food outside and not disturb the sleeping guests. this is what the quarantine hotels in the philippines do. thank you. and by the way, one of the guests here was knocking on all rooms just to borrow mobile charger, the quarantine hotel must give an orientation to their guests, its not allowed to go out the room!!! unless cleared and ready for check out.

Let me give my brutally honest review of this hotel from how I felt. I was in this hotel for 7 days. So this is my detailed review which should include almost everything. Sorry if I miss out on any particular detail. Firstly the area in which this hotel is located isclose by Corniche and is accessible, but getting into the hotel would take some time as there are road works all around the hotel and where it is situated. Once you get to the hotel, you are taken to the basement of the hotel. There are hotel security staffs waiting there. They then collect your information and give you the card for your room(though apparently me nor the other person who was also staying in another room at the hotel did not get, rather got the card holders). The security staffs are friendly and helpful and did help me get the bags onto the lift. Once you are checked in, you take the lift and go straight to your floor and then to your room. Now the rooms...The rooms are alright for a '4-star hotel'. There is essentials like kettle, tea bags(green and chamomile options only) available as well as Alicafe coffee powders which they also give you again on request. They provide 1.5L water bottles and give you more on request. There's a big 40ish inch TV with a very small selection of channels. There's one or two english movie channels, though you're better off with any movies you have on your own. The bed was good and the comforters were soft. The room lacked lighting from what I felt, though this is my opinion. The warm lighting is all you get. Then the bathroom, which is also satisfactory. The water pressure was great and the showers were great. They provide you with the essentials you need for your stay at the hotel though I'm not sure how much of the items they will restock for you though. I brought my own items from my place which I used throughout the stay so I have no idea on that part. The A/C is central, which can be adjustable using the thermostat control on the wall, and was great. Now, the food is another major area when it comes to hotels. In this case, it was disappointing for me most of the time. The breakfasts were the worst of them all, where you are always given cold Kuboos(arabic pita bread)every day. Now people who've had Kuboos before knows how frustrating it would be to have cold kuboos. Along with kuboos, you get limited options like chick peas, or beans or eggs, along with 2 plain toasted bread slices. You get a small portion of jam, butter and honey everyday along with the breakfast. You also get fresh milk on request(for free). The lunch and dinner options were also not that great I would say, some days you would like it and some days you wouldn't at all! There are options like grilled chicken, mutton biriyani, etc. on specific days. That's it. I have no idea on how the food option for vegetarians are though. I'm pretty sure you would get basmati rice most of the days as lunch and dinner. So there's my opinion on foods. Coming to the WiFi, OMG! I had online class in the morning most of the days and there are a lot of times I wondered if I was really in a 4-star hotel, and that too even had doubts if I really was using internet in Qatar. Qatar having such an amazing infrastructure for internet and fiber connectivity, was the total opposite of what the hotel offered through it's Wifi. In evenings, you get around 10 Mbps, in mornings I had speeds less that 1 Mbps. That's like what I had when using ADSL 10 years ago in Qatar. Imagine that. After numerous calls to the front desk and explaining that I was unable to attend online classes, the gave me ethernet cable after 3 days of my stay. So to anyone reading my review and made it this far, either carry an ethernet cable with you or request the hotel for an ethernet cable and plug it. It will instantly give you speeds around 75+ Mbps, which is way better than the slow WiFi. The housekeeping staffs were amazing and super helpful. Only choose this hotel if you have no other option. :)

In the crowded mid level pricepoint category of hotel rooms ... this is truly an exceptional find. The vibrant decor, the welcoming & attentive staff, the spacious bathroom, and a breakfast buffet that welcomes in the day. Easily worth even 100qr above their room rate. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

I ordered food delivery from the Sultani restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions of excellent size. I spoke to the restaurant manager Mr Nadir, who was very attentive and excelled all my expectations. I definitely highly recommend.
