Boutique luxury hotel, collection of houses converted into this lovely place to stay just off Straight Street. Well appointed rooms and excellent service as one would expect from a 5* hotel anywhere in the world. A quiet oasis in the midst of hectic Damascus.

After 30 years decided to visit the old Country , after debates where to stay we picked Beit Al-Wali for its location . The rooms were very clean , food was excellent and front desk was very accommodating . Damascus have an issue with rolling power outage however Beit Al Wali had 24 hours power and Wi-Fi . The room had a safe and the water was pretty hot , as for the Breakfast which was included was amazing crazy , included every Syrian breakfast dish under the sun , pretty pretty good . This staff are very trustworthy I left 4000 Dollars under the pillow forgot to leave it in the safe and forgot to place do not disturb sign , well when I got back noticed they cleaned the room so I thought kiss my money goodbye since 4000 US Dollars is a lot of money in Syria , amazing thing the money was placed under the pillow I mean I could not believe it . This place deserve 5 stars all day .

We wanted to have a special hotel for for our first stay in Damascus after 20 years, and Beit Al Wali was just perfect. The hotel location is very good. 30 mins from airport, and just outside Bab Touma square and can be accessed by car. It is close and within walking distance to all the beautiful sites of Old Damascus( Omyad mosque, Spice market, Azzam palace) and many beautiful resturant sms and bars. We stayed at the suit and room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children. The decor was true to old Damascus historical style and hotel architecture is just amazing. The staff were super friendly and always attentive to our questions and gave us plenty of advice. The breakfast was so good, fresh ingredients and amazing dishes like fateeh and foul. I would highly recommend this hotel for its elegance, style and location and amazing service. Hassan

A delightful alternative to typical big box hotels without giving up service or amenities. Well placed within the walls of Old Damascus and a welcome retreat after a day of touring. I spent 3 nights as a solo female. Felt a welcomed guest, every staff member was courteous and kind. I was on the ground floor with a room (301) facing the interior courtyard. The room was small but well appointed. It was perfect for one, although the bathroom size might be a challenge for two guests. Breakfast and dinner were very good; do try Syrian wine, it’s excellent! Lots of interesting small streets to wander around the hotel but be aware you are inside one of the oldest cities in the world. Sidewalks and roads are narrow and cars and motorbikes maneuver thru seemingly impossible small spaces so need to be aware when walking. Loved the hotel, would happily stay again and wholeheartedly recommend.
