We loved our stay at the trip hostel so much that when we went to leave after 4 days and missed our 11am bus, instead of getting a bus at 5pm the same day we just decided to check back in for another 2 days. The staff really go out of their way to help with anything we needed and...

We were staying one night in this hostel in Punta del Este. They had good prices, nice staff, nice hostel, air condicion...almost everything was good. But unfortunately, at least that bed where I slept, was full of some bugs..."pulgas" or something like that. Because in the morning when I woke up, my cheeks and my legs were full of bites..and...

Diego, Marcello and Gonzalo, 3 local guys do a fantastic job in making everyone visiting feel really special and welcome. From the moment you walk in, they are helpful and try to make you feel at home. They play great music...

The service and friendliness of the staff is beyond amazing and they made the stay so much more worthwhile. The room had AC and cable TV with HBO. The kitchen was very well stocked...

We stayed one night at the Trip hostel on a short visit to Uruguay from Argentina and loved it. The hostel is perfectly located only a few hundred meters from the bus terminal. Easy to find with signs everywhere. The bathrooms, rooms and sheets are very clean. Our room was small with triple bunk beds which makes it easy to...

Best hostel- simply because of the legendary staff. They all bent over backwards to learn our names, help us out with anything, and make sure our stay was as good as possible. Friendly/ fun/ relaxed vibe, the bar is great (but you can also byo), the rooftop is perfect for afternoon caipirinhas, and the kitchen has everything you need. Showers...

The living room area is decorated like you would have it at home, so it has a very cosy feeling. I went there in October when it was still cold and found sitting by the fire place, with their gorgeous dog by my side, very comforting. The rooms are big with plenty, plenty of bunk beds, so it can get crowded,...

“I would say book the smallest bunk room you can - the 12 dorm when not full is fine, but if it is fully booked, it can be 'cosy'... but as most people spend little time in the room anyway, it shouldn't matter, as the atmosphere in the chill out spaces is great.”
