This is the worst hostel iv'e ever been to! The rooms stinks, messed and dusty, very crowdy and small, and the only 2 electricity connection doesn't work. The kitchen barely have any dishes to work with, the fire at the hoven doesn't work, there is no soap to clean the dishes and even the tap water there doesn't work. The...

Very easy hostel, nice simpel. Good personal helpful, very close to the center easy to get to. There are a few street food stands out on the Main Street perfect to dinner there before returning to the hostel at night.

Went here after a cold and tyring bus drive from copacabana to La Paz, without being able to check out some reviews or anything about the place due to internet troubles at Copa. Which was a mistake. Though the guy at the desk was friendly despite our late arrival (23.45), we decided to leave after one night (55 bs. pp...

At £14 a night for a double room with private bathroom you don't come with high expectations but this place is torture. The sheets were filthy, the room was like a cupboard, there were people up all night playing the guitar and talking loudly and in the morning I was electrocuted in the shower! Would have been funny if I'd...

The hostel is located very close to La Paz' central district and overall a nice place to stay at. We hadn't figured out how to use the electric showers at this time of our trip so we only had cold water but I assume you can get a warm shower here - so that is not the hostels fault if...

We stayed two nights to sleep, but I I wanted to leave right away, we only stayed because we were tired. The hostel was very dirty, no hot water, the sheets of the bed dirty, the staff looked like they were giving discomfort, loud music until late, there is a cat that wandered sick that no one gave him care....

When I first checked in, the staff didn't have any smile on his face. I booked through hostelworld and I thought they had a copy of the incoming list but the receptionist kept asking for it, luckily I had one printed and he just took it. It got worse when I got into the room and found no electric plug....

The hostels overall cleanliness is poor. The bathrooms are the worst I've ever seen, they don't have toilet seats! What! They say that there is hot water this most certainly is not the case I had a many of cold showers. The free breakfast is your standard tea coffee and bread with butter and jam but most mornings they ran...

The only reason to stay here, is if you're curious about a bad hostel experience. You share the bathroom with a club, there's constant street noise in the room and the cigarette smoke is everywhere. Get drunk to fall asleep or take sleeping pills.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The 19th-century house which we've fully renovated to make a hostel, welcomes you into one of the oldest and most stylish buildings in the city. It is located only 3 blocks away from Plaza Murillo (city's main square),1 ½ blocks away from the Bus Terminal, and only 10 minutes (walking distance) away from any touristic site you want to visit. Bash n' Crash has managed to pinpoint all the things that you need and look for when backpacking. With several common areas (all which have their own charm and ways to keep you busy), comfy beds in private and shared dorms, hot showers, YUMMY food, great music, drinks and a friendly, happy to help English speaking staff, this is a place you won't want to miss! With parties that start and end at our very own night club, this hostel is the only one in La Paz that gives you the chance to bash and crash in one spot. ... more   less
