We stayed at La Colina for three nights and it was a fabulous experience! The rooms were great, comfortable beds, nice big bathrooms, fresh squeezed juice and the hosts have a wealth of information about La Paz and what to do around Zona Sur. It is a taxi ride away from the city center of La Paz, but we had...

We spent two nights in this lovely hostel and enjoyed it very much. The hotel itself is a little bit far from the center. However, the very close district Zona Sur offers you what you would like to have. There are plenty of restaurantes, shops, supermarketes etc. We didn't miss anything. This part of La Paz is very lovely and...

This is a lovely B&B. Spacious bedroom and bathroom, clean and quiet. The breakfast is the standard South American breakfast of fruit, toast, eggs, tea or coffee. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the location. I like being reasonably close to some city life and I felt really isolated in Zona Sur. Generally I had to take a taxi...

To me it's all about the perfect combination: Service, Cleanliness and Attention to Detail. This is a serene and very well kept home with a genuinely caring owner. After a hectic and long trip to South America I finally landed in La Paz and was helped by Carolina. (For an additional fee and ahead of time, You can request a...

For those of you who understand the real value of a B&B will definitely appreciate this quiet, clean, comfortable and greatly located place in south La Paz ("Zona Sur"). You'll be roughly at 20 minutes from the downtown and only 10 minutes walking to the nicest commercial area in the south of the city (San Miguel). The service was fantastic!!...

Based on the previous reviews I booked in La Colina. My most TERRIBLE experience ever! I arrived around 5pm but no one was in the 'hotel' to open the door. I called the numbers provided, no one was answering, after insisting a few times I finally got hold of a lady. I waited all in all over 2hours outside in...

We stayed at La Colina on four different occasions during our stay in Bolivia, when making excursions out of La Paz. I cannot recommend this place enough; we were made feel like at home from the very beginning; leaving our luggage behind during our excursions was never a problem; and one day when there were some road blocks in central...
