This is 1 of the cheapest places to stay in La Paz but considering the price it's pretty solid. It is in a reasonably central location. It has reasonable wi-fi which was easily the quickest wi-fi I had in any hostel in Bolivia in the month I stayed there. There was hot water in showers but as it was gas...

We states in this place for 2 nights. It's a hostal for about 50 people with just one dirty smelly, never cleaned bathroom, you have to wait in a queue for. Hair from million people all around the shower and the floor. Toilets were simply disgrace, poos in every single toilet, again never cleaned. We got a room which smelled...

If you're looking for a cheap, safe place to stay in La Paz, this is it. It's locateed at walking distance from Plaza San Francisco and the main market and if your luggage is light you can walk from the bus terminal too. It was 98BOB for a double room, with really hot showers and a kitchen that we made...

Stayed for a couple of nights. Two bed rooms may be needed to be shared. Beds are good and clean, Matraces as well. Showers are hot. Breakfast a few meters down the road. Main places are in a walking diatance of about five minutes, theatre around the corner. Definitely for the price ( about 7 usd) unbeatable...

This hostal is very cheap and you get what you pay for (we paid 80 BOB for a double). The rooms are very bare, the bathrooms are dirty but you do get a comfortable bed and unlimited hot water. They also have a kitchen you can use.

We stayed at Hostal Austria for a total of 10 days over 2 periods. Overall we were happy with the hostel which we found to be very good value for money and well located. We paid 42bob p/p for a double room. The hostel is clean, spacious, has a kitchen (which seems to be hard to find in La Paz),...

This hostel is probably one of the cheapest hostels you can find in downtown La Paz! The rooms are ok and the price is also good! They offer a sharing kitchen that is one of the reason increase to go there if you wanna save money. As I said the rooms are ok... be ready to be cold at night...

This place is really cheap ($10 for a private room) but reminds me more of eastern Austria than the sound of music type. Hints: Secure toilet paper, get ear plugs, check the gas "bomb" before hoping for a warm shower. Oh, and the beds are kinda "bowled" in due to their advanced age.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, right in historical centre. Amazing wi fi. Hot shower with good pressure. Clean, quiet, practical and tastefully done up. Well equipped kitchen. Free storage facility. Would highly recommend it.

I booked a private room in this hostel trough Booking.com which was confirmed 3 days before getting there, and for my surprise and deception when I got there after a full day trip in Salar Uyuni between 2 nights bad sleeping in a bus, the owner said he didn't have any reservation for me. Reading other reviews here I can...
