My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Casa Bellavista when we first arrived to Bogotá, and I could not be happier with our choice. Our flight got in late, and Gerardo greeted us, walked us to house 2, and made us feel safe and comfortable right away. Breakfast was nice and we loved the coffee and tea all day!...

We booked two nights in Casa Bellavista, but ended uo in the much less atmospheric Casa Bellavista 2. Something we only heard about upon arrival. The walls here are so thin you can hear your neighbours breathing, something that makes sleep a challenging endeavour. The common area is mostly used by the not-so-talkative owner as television room. Oh and there...

The hostel has 2 locations close to each other in a nice neighbourhood and close to the main square. We stayed in Bellavista 2 I believe. We stayed in a double private room with bathroom (accidentally because we arrived late at night but they let us stay there for the same price) which was really nice and spacious with even...

Location is lovely in the heart of Candelaria! Never had any problems in the street even at night. If you don t mind to be asked if you want cocaine or weed once an a while you re good. Hostel itself is kinda small with family atmosphere. I already was with some friends but still the place is good to...

We're extremely satisfied with our stay at Bellavista, where we stayed a whole week. We're travelled all over the world but this hostel is the best we've ever stayed at.The staff is EXTREMELY nice - this colombian family who is in charge of the hostel is just adorable, they really made us feel at home. They were so helpful, social...

This hostel is situated in a super vibey neighbourhood. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double room which was REALLY spacious for what we paid. The only thing is there's a big window upstairs (where the bed is situated) and in the mornings the room brightens up very early. Not ideal if you want to snooze in...

The hostel had a great option for breakfast. Also the location is great since its the meeting point for the free walking tour also has other important landmarks nearby. The only drawback is the neighborhood doesn't feel the safest at night. Since there's no smoking area inside the hostel, its a little unsafe since one needs to go to the...

One of the best hostels I stayed at in South America! Gerardo, Sabastian, Venessa and Nubia are great hosts! I would give the hostel 5 if they had a bigger social area and a designated smoking area as you can't smoke anywhere inside. If you are a non-smoker this hostel is definitely for you! Breakfast is great, helpfulness was amazing...
