I stayed 2 nights when I first arrived to Colombia and Bogota. Positives: it's cute, with a lot of character. The staff is unfailingly accommodating, helpful, and friendly. Even though my spanish sucks, they tried to help. Location is great if you want to explore La Candelaria, as it is in the famous narrow alley. Hot water bottles are a...

We were brought here by our tour guide on a free walking tour to sample Chicha, which is a traditional drink of fermented corn and sugar. Apparently, this place was the site of an illegal Chicheria back when the substance was illegal. They also have a chocolate/cinnamon/clove hot drink called chucula that is only found in Colombia and only found...

Hotel Casa Galeria is a beautiful colonial style hotel. It's right in all the tourist activity, but offers a peaceful little spot to relax. The ladies who work there were all hospitable and helpful at all times. They brought a hot water bottle for the bed at night, since it gets chilly. The shared bathroom was clean, and never had...

The staff are friendly and welcoming and the building full of character on an interesting old street which is very central and in the historic Candelaria quarter. Breakfast is cooked to order even on my last morning when I had to catch a 5.30 taxi to the airport. a hot water bottle is provided at night and the was a...

The place has a charming historical feeling and the staff and owner are beyond accommodating, we needed an quiet place and that's what we got. Their rooms in the back are the best. It is located at a short walking distance from many points of interest. One of the nicest touches was a warm beverage offered before bed and they...

Bogota is chilly at night, so the staff put hot water bottles under our sheets to keep our feet warm. We enjoyed breakfast in the interior courtyard, it was a quaint setting. This hotel is located on a thin, bustling, cobble-stone street with many trinket shops and young-people milling about. Cons: The coffee was - meh. It was difficult to...

A perfect location in the old part of the city. We had a double room with private bathroom right at the back so recommend you ask for that one. Good breakfast and a cafe at the front. The people that run this lovely place are so friendly and really helpful. We will be back.

Staff was lovely and eager to serve! Hearty and yummy breakfast. Accommodations were clean. Despite being on a very busy pedestrian street, the hotel room was quiet at night. Charming café and overall architecture/decor. Happy to recommend. Great location, easy walking distance to main attractions.
