This place is in a great location, your walking distance from all you need, bars, restaurants, culture. We were really pleased with the hostel owner, he was super helpful, pleasant, welcoming, friendly, kind. We were also able to check in a touch early which was great as we'd travelled 16 hrs and lost our baggage. The closed in courtyard is...

The location in the historic center La Candelaria of Bogotá is very good. It is close to the Casa de Nariño, the Presidential Palace, Plaza Bolivar, and many restaurants and cafés. At the corner there is a police post, so this area is comparatively safe. I never encountered any trouble in this regard anyway. We were greeted friendly. The owner...

Brilliant hostel that has a great location near the president's palace, the plaza and many restaurants and shops. The owner is friendly, helpful and speaks brilliant English! He was interested in our plans and gave us good advice, not just for Bogota but for Colombia in general. Our room was a double room with shared bathroom. It was always spotless....

My stay at Zohar hostal was very enjoyable. I felt safe, and it was easy to explore the La Candelabra neighborhood. My bed was super comfortable, there was filtered water always available, and coffee as well! The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. The owners were really friendly and helpful. The WiFi connection was strong and consistent.

We are a couple and stayed in a double with ensuite. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Filtered drinking water all day and free coffee in the mornings. Good location, round the corner from the Botero gallery. Felt safe as lots of police on each street corner around government buildings. Hostel owner speaks good English and helped a lot with recommending...

Zohar Hostel is located in the heart of the Candelaria district. Close to many museums, restaurants and historical sites. The owner speaks English and is very helpful. It is secure and safe. I have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again when I return to Bogota. The prices are very reasonable.

The rooms and hotel were very nice especially for the price. We had a great bed. It was a also a great base for exploring the old city during the daytime. At night, it felt quite dangerous, so it is not really a party spot. The hostel proprietor was very nice. This is not really a hostel for meeting other...

“It's not the hotel's fault but there the room we had (which I'd ask for if I went back) is at the front and therefore on a busy street that never seems to quieten down. I would bring earplugs and all will be right with the world. The bed and pillows are super comfy.”
