Biggest thing going for it is the good location as it is easy walking distance to the central attractions of Bogota. The rooms though are cramped and beds not too comfortable. Nevertheless, if you are on a budget, and comfort is a bonus rather then a must, then it will be sufficient.

We were a family group of three and had a room near the entrance with a dividing wall: perfect for parents and grown up daughter! It was quiet, with a nice breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable and we had our own bathroom.

Stayed for 1 night recently, thankfully no more. Very very noisy room, not only loud outside noise all night but you could clearly hear conversations from the rooms next door. Room and bathroom really small. On a good note the staff were lovely and helpful

Stayed here for one night... was very happy with the location- right next to the old town. The rooms were amazing...for this reason i would class it more of a hotel b&b then hostel. The breakfast was great...cereals, coffee and cooked eggs. Lovely patio and the interior was relaxing and tranquil...perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the city. If...

Parking was 2 doors up which was extra cost and make sure you have...

No there isn't wifi in the rooms, there isn't satellite tv, and sometimes your shower might not be that hot, but people, that is not what backpacking is about. German is one of the friendliest, most welcoming, interesting hostel owners I've ever encountered, and the Platypus is the great mecca of old school, true adventure travelers who aren't just on...

Very basic, no internet in rooms (at least when I was there) and as long as there was internet in their own office they didn't seem very inclined to solve it. Their was a technician coming manhana (tomorrow). Tomorrow never came, as always in LA. Wouldn't reccomend it.

We went there just for one night. We had a nice, but very small room. Luckely we had only backpacks and no trunks. There would have been no space to open them. The people there were very nice and we felt very save there. The breakfast was amazing and made with love. Thanks for everything.

I stayed here for about a month. I had my own room with a bunk bed for the whole time. The staff is very courteous and welcoming. They also are very serious about security so I felt safe there. A few nice rooms are upstairs. It is also a nice atmosphere because it is an open air setting, that is...
