As first time visitors to Bogota, we had few expectations, so to say that Abadia Colonial exceeded them isn't to give it credit. We arrived late at night and were met at the door by a lovely young woman who showed us to our room and turned on the heater to take the chill out. The next morning, and every... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in late November. The bedroom was very comfortable with a queen sized bed, a desk, a closet, and an attached, small bathroom and shower. We liked the colonial style of the hotel, including wooden floors and a high ceiling with small log framing in the bedroom, and tile floor in the... More

The rooms are nice, colonial, nice bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really simple... not enough to start the day. Located on a good spot close to museum Botero. Safe neigbourhoud.

With so many sites to see in La Candelaria neighborhood, this hotel's location is as good as it gets and the very reason it receives good reviews. We stayed for an entire week and felt that it met our needs, but it does have it's shortcomings. The neighborhood is lower socioeconomic with a high security presence. During the day with... More

This small hotel is a gem in the middle of the old neighborhood of Bogotà. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The silent patio where one can rest and drink a cold beer away from the hustle and bustle of the city is priceless. Breakfast is on the second floor with a view of the old roofs is rich... More

I stayed at this hotel on the 19th July. I arrived to check in at midday but was told that check in was 3pm. Ok, the rooms were available and had been cleaned but the contract says check in is 3pm so I can understand the staff insisted on the check in time. My expectation is simply that my luggage... More

Stayed at this delightful small establishment for one night and was pleasantly surprised.Sra Moreno at the front desk was very cordial and when I told her that I had not taken proper account of the weather in Bogota and so was not suitably attired for that chilly evening she made sure that I had a radiator in my room and... This is a quaint beautiful and charming little Hotel, with Italian restaurant. The rooms are so charming in the colonial style. Great ambiance. Clean as well. All you need is there. The location is perfect, central to all the major attractions in Bogota within walking distance.

A bit pricey for my budget but I wanted comfort after slumming it on buses etc for days. However it is worth the price. I ended up staying for a few days. The staff were really nice and helped me any way they could. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a tough one to score. I had eaten there several times before and been impressed so decided to stay this time. Our 1st visit was problem free, with friendly helpful staff and no owner around. I thought the place really good value and would have happily awarded 5* at that stage. But we returned for a second stay... More
