I had a booking here and flew to Bogotá on a cold raining day. Upon arrival I was sent a message that my booking was canceled because they can’t give me the experience that I’m looking for. Mind you years ago I stayed here and they tried to charge me for a faulty broken toliet seat and some towels with mud on them $90 for a couple bath towels. I had to get IHG Corporate on the phone to resolve this issue. Years later I fly in from across the world and find myself without accommodations. No explanation and they ignored my emails. I had to find another hotel nearby as I had business planned here. Now I’m paying more than expected. Give the Holiday Inn a hard pass. The management is horrible and rude. They don’t deserve business. Covid 19 has ravished occupancy in Colombia and they are turning away business and money due to a grudge from years ago. They failed at extorting me and punish me now. Super immature. Avoid at all costs.…
That was so nice to stay in this hotel./ Staff is super carying, great breakfast. I discovered fruit greanadilla and was having them 5 every breakfast.Everyone knows you. Very nice location-next to main square.Rooms always clean. From window you can see in the morning how special bus picking up dogs for daycare- I wish we have so massive care fo animals in America. Columbians are great people. I fell in love with country. Plus they love animals!
The hotel has an excelent location and everything you need for a business trip. The rooms are a bit simple; but their service was great, especially their front desk staff was very corteous and professional. Another aspect I liked was that they had a coffee shop and many restaurants around the hotel. For instance, they have a nice wine bar right next to the hotel that works very well for after work time. I would definitely recommend and come back to this hotel.
Terrible service. I’m platinum elite with IHG but wasn’t offered any welcome drink or snack, waited 45min to check in due to some confusion with my booking, was charged early check in fee even though receptionist agreed it was going to be free as my membership perk. Not to even mention a room upgrade for which I asked and I know the hotel had availability. Worst IHG experience so far. The room was great as always.
It is rare to find any decent breakfast at a Holiday Inn hotel any where. It tends to be pathetic. But this one featured squeeze your own fresh OJ. What a pleasure. This is a modern, sleek hotel unlike the Holiday Inns in the USA that are generally all rundown. Staff were very warm and helpful, again unlike the HI hotels in the USA. However, the hotel has a major issue. There is no driveway into the hotel entrance. One has to alight on the street and then walk through an office building to access the hotel lobby. There is no ramp either. With luggage, this is an issue.
