Spent five days on a research trip, accompanied by student daughter as assistant. We each had a nice big room with en suite. The staff, led by Max, are absolutely wonderful, always there and always ready with help and information; they do a very good breakfast The only downside is the noisy neighbourhood, complete with soundsystems, dogs and a rooster;... I have to be honest by saying my stay didn't get off to the best start: I had to ask for hand soap for my bathroom, and there was no air conditioner remote for my room. But these shortcomings were more than made up for by the friendly service of the owner, Max, and his staff. In fact, it is... More

Amen and amen to all of the positive reviews posted here. I recently spent five nights at The Villa and can't imagine there is any other place in Georgetown--or anywhere for that matter--that offers the same level of welcome, service and hospitality. The young ladies at the front desk are simply top-notch as is the kind, helpful young woman who... More

The rooms are clean and well appointed, with AC, wifi, a small fridge, and full self containment. The premises are in impeccable condition with meticulous care for maintaining... More
