I am a frequent visitor of this hotel and that it is only because they have done tried to offer a variety of activities in a country where there isn't always much to do. Most locals come to this hotel to watch movies and go to the casino since these are only ones available in the country until Marriott completes...

This hotel was booked for me by someone else as I was travelling. The room was in a poor state of repair, there was a smoke detector hanging from the ceiling which gave me doubts over whether it would work if needed. The hotel wifi worked, but was very slow. The TV in the room could only get CNN (good...

The staff here are indifferent at best, and at worst surly - they are in dire need of some customer service training. They give the outward impression of doing you a favour by just being there. We went as a family and the restaurant was closed for renovation so had to make do with the snack bar most evenings, we...

The staff does not know customer service, the room was dirty, the bed was infested with BED BUGS and so were the chairs. There was nothing in the fridge, no coffee maker, and the towels were disgusting and the internet is super slow. In another room the lights weren't working and the shower was broken. We waited for more than...

The hotel from the outside looks ok, there's some terrible problems inside. First of all, if you are visiting Guyana on business, don't go to this hotel, the Internet speed is terrible, when it manages to work. Skype or IP phones impossible to use, and you cannot make calls outside the hotel from your room phone. On front desk they...

I had lunch with a visiting friend and we enjoyed the food and service. There was a buffet but that was almost finished when we got there after lunch so we ordered off the menu. Portions are big but very tasty.

My family and I check in this hotel hoping to have an enjoyable vacation however that was not the case. First the FRONT DESK AGENT -Christina (cannot remember her last name but a slim Guyana Indian girl) did not even said "good morning"; no greetings at all, to top it off our room was not ready, she did not apologize...

We were put up at this hotel by Caribbean Airlines because of a cancelled flight. Stayed overnight and it is the worst. The lobby wreaks, the rooms are worst. Very smelly and disgusting. Hair all over the bed and the rooms are carpeted. Even that was yucky.
